I really like the pacing, the real encounter might take some time but it’s the reason why I’m hooked and it doesn’t make the readers feel frustrated at all. I like how the mc knows how to think and doesn’t make dumb decisions.

Her resilience is great but it would have been more interesting if the mc is a little twisted herself. It’s so hard to be righteous when you’re surrounded by people who don’t give a shit about what you think.
I truly felt more connection and care between the empress and the mc than the mc with the crown prince. I feel unsatisfied with how their relationship progressed because what they went through is always concerning the empress so nothing challenged their relationship (more like an alliance) and the decision to marry is way too fast. Which chapter did the ml fell in love with the mc again? I probably forgot.
