I just read through some comments...I just like to address some stuff, I will forever blame the ML for not doing right by his omega. But y'all don't understand the level trauma can get, especially childhood traumas, for ML, now I understand why he behaves the way he does, because all his life that's what he was taught, you can't expect a child who was taught that killing is morally justify to change over night just because you think what he's doing is wrong. To him it's not wrong. ML had a tough up bringing but do you see how he handles his own son? Do you see the monster in him when he smiles at his son. He wants to do right by that boy and that's a big step. He just doesn't know how to accept and handle love coming from his omega cuz he wasn't taught how to respond to love in a positive light. Dude just needs help that's what I'm seeing. And fast because he's to quiet for someone with trauma.

My problem with this, especially this trope, is that others especially ppl who have a relationship with ML will this use as excuse not a reason to tell the MC to not give up on ML and continue to put up with bad treatment by him just because he has supposed feelings for him. The reason I say supposed is because there has been nothing that the MC has experienced directly from ML that would indicate that he loves him, instead all the MC is hearing is testimonials on how he is loved by him. So then it creates a guiltrip situation where MC feels bad for not wanting to continuously give love to someone who doesn't reciprocate just in the hope that he will show him love back. It's not enough to just say you love someone, it should also be known to the other person through your actions, which neither has been done by ML. I'm not saying this to disregard his horrible childhood and the trauma it left him with but I'm saying this because I hate how the MC will have self hatred for himself for giving up on someone who treated him badly just because he has trauma.

You are right but let's not excuse the fact that this persons you think are closed to ML ain't close to him, his sister wasn't close to him at least from my point I think he didn't allow anyone close to him from his family. So his sister is just doing what any sibling would do, she saw him for the first time doing things he won't ordinarily do for his family to his omega. And she just wanted to give the omega insight of what has happened to the ML, you can't even blame this people cuz they don't know how terrible the relationship between ML and MC is. They were just laying out what they noticed and MC took from a heart point. And I think ML love his omega just hasn't realized it yet and to what extent; or he knows but doesn't know how to express it without looking weak. I would only advice MC to focus on himself and his son... giving to much attention to ML would disturb his feelings. He shouldn't look deep into things until the mfckin' ML finally expresses his feelings with real intent.
My criticism was mostly towards authors who do this shit because ofc there are ways to explain the characters' behaviors but the explanations are never satisfactory enough for me as the authors would create this toxic situation where it is left upon us readers to alleviate the toxicity through explanations in order to feel better about the progression of their relationship. Like I hate how much of a trope it is that ppl who have no idea of how their relationship is would give 'relationship advice' and the MC would take it to heart as if they should feel bad for wanting to give up on an abusive relationship. I really wonder what goes through authors heads when they do this, because I have had my fair share of toxic love stories where the authors know what their doing and is not trying to market the relationship as aspirational. But this doesn't feel like that it feels like the only part we are supposed to feel that is outwardly toxic is that the ML doesn't communicate in the way he should but completely ignore and romanticize how badly the ML treats the MC.
See bra, I would always say what I usually say ...this is a person's imagination, their art, their way of putting up their own story, damn! every being on earth is toxic at some point in their lives, I can't bash a person's work because that's their work, I could maybe do my differently that's the point I take home. I know that cuz I create content. So it's up to us readers to leave the work if we can't handle the author's imagination, or move on and not take the shit to heart cuz this shit ain't real to begin with, you can't find all this in real life, that's why they are fictional in nature. So I can't insult the author, I would go with the flow of the imagination, every person's complaining here, how many of them have you seen their work around. Of course the ML is dumb that's how the author wanted him to be for now, of course the MC had to be to soft and romantic but in all it's still full web of imagination going on. I can't allow something like this bother me cuz I know you don't see this shits in real, we just come here to relax or waste some extra time, or increase our imagination capacity. For me I just pick points and fuck off, attack the characters in the plot not the author cuz he/ she never rubbed the story on us or force us to read it....we took ourselves in and develop interest and being reading.
