Wow. This, where had i been all the time and just stumbled upon this now? Love Doumeki and Yashiro so much. This is more than your ordinary yaoi manga. It’s sensical and touches on deep seethed feelings and issues. Art is beautiful, awesome storyline and development. I feel for Yashiro so much and what he’s been through. Hope he truly sees how a lot of people love him, specially Doumeki. Gaaahh can’t wait to know what’s gonna happen next

Yes, yes, this manga is in a league of its own. The quality of the story, the art, the level of complexity of the characters ... it's no coincidence that this manga has been going on for so long as a favorite of so many readers. The wait for the updates is painful, the angst, especially of the first chapters is not easy to go through but you can't help but feel you are reading a work of art. It's deserving of every award and praise it ever got. There is drama, there is intelligent humor, psychological depth and Yashiro ... I mean, what a fascinating character. And Doumeki is both the contradiction to and the perfect fit for him.

Yay thanks! Couldn’t agree more! This had been sitting on my reading list for quite a time and just decided to binge read today. Thought it was just yet another yakuza themed yaoi manga, but gave it a try anyway. And oh how thankful i am now. Right after reading, i’ve seen quite a lot of reviews too and realized how big of a hit it is. Well, what can we expect of Yoneda sensei. I only read one of her works before (doushitemo) but Saezuru is on a whole new level. It’s kinda refreshing, the way everything unfolds is a masterpiece of itself. The emotions each character emit jut strike through the heart. The art is also very expressive of their raw feelings. Hope things get even better from here on.

Kusakabe is too sweet. Also, the scene where he said he’s going back tomorrow that made sajou cry left me bawling like crazy. Been in ldr for almost ten years now and i know how it shatters my heart everytime they had to leave again..
