Well, the story arc starts right after their dating rumors. Youngguk goes back to his hometown for a vacation and is still feeling confused about how he feels about Yeonsoo. There he has an encounter with a new scriptwriter and producer and decides to take on their drama (his character is a mermaid prince and the FL is a conglomerate heiress). He suggests Yeonsoo for the role and asks Yeonsoo to not go to America and work with him. As they start working, Youngguk becomes sure of his feelings for Yeonsoo and they start dating. This is when their photos get leaked again and Youngguk arranges a press conference to admit that He's dating Yeonsoo. But Yeonsoo's CEO doesn't let her go to the conference because if the public response to the news is bad, she's likely to get more backlash. However, she sneaks out of the agency and goes to conference and also confirms that they're dating. And the public response to it is good as well because of their drama pairing. The story then jumps to the epilogue with a 10 year time skip.

So, I started reading the novel and the story progression really different in the novel, in a good way. All the drama about the scandal and MC finding out about her parents death happens before grandpa's death (grandpa hasn't died at the point where I am). They webtoon also cut out a lot of incidents. Such as, Sujin saw them making out in Guam. And then she forced her way in as a model for ML'S company advertisements and her manager spread rumors that Yoonseol is trying to get between Junyoung and Sujin. Only for the. to directly announce in a company dinner that there's nothing between Sujin and Him, and that he's romantically interested in Yoonseol and is pursuing her.
Oh my god! Jisuk and Subin are going to put Vesper through hell. I just know it lol.

So, Grace is actually OgSelonia. She somehow got to know about the future and what goes on in the expedition. She didn't want to go on the expedition and do all the hard work but did want the glory of being a Savior. So, she used black magic to switch her soul to Grace's body and mc's soul got sucked in in the process. The duke has been helping her from the start. Their plan was to switch back OgSelonia to her body right away after the expedition but failed to do so (headcanon is this is why MC was in a coma for three months). OgSelonia got impatient and approached the MLs because she considers them to be hers (as they're supposed to be in love with her) and used black magic to sway them. The Duke is kidnapping people for the spell to switch back bodies because each turn requires 100 human sacrifices.
