I jumped back to chp 1 and saw the credit header for the scan team. Anyone know the last black and white character?

I keep thinking about when they first met Seo said,” I’ve been a fan of yours”. After finishing season 1, I’m curious if there’s more to explore on this or was it just used for character build up. I say this because he handed YW the medal he threw after his match. Was he there as a spectator for friends, or was his step brother into judo? And that’s how he met him from the sidelines? BECAUSE…. Seo is an opportunist. We do see his capacity to be manipulative, but I think the “accidental” run in with the actor in Chp 1. gave him the opportunity to move things in his favor ( which, I think the actor is pretty manipulative because we know he set YW up to see him due to unrequited feelings). That being said, I’m curious if there was an opportunity to connect with YW through that mentor / buddy program.
If he met YW because he went to support a friend or his step bro at a match, then I think the dialogue during the jump flash back supports this when the kids were dogging him about his background in judo. He also was seen with a sling in the final chapter flash back so if that was a broken arm or dislocated something that was pretty personal (duh) because he needs his arm for holds. Like that wasn’t just a warning, that was definitely the step brother being like, “ get the fuck away from my man.”
I think the brother kiss flash back also showed that most likely the step brother initiated the kiss because he was gripping on Seo. Like, I think it’s been in the comments that it looked hella staged so YW WOULD see them. This then leads to Seo’s spiral once YW runs away. I think the scandal mentioned in the last chapter has a young Seo, I am willing to bet that pervy uncle had something to do with Seo being there. Like, him trying to comfort Seo by leading him straight into the lions den.
This is one of the only BLs I’ve read where I’ve been more interested in the what got us here than the present story. I was underwhelmed with the finale because the present timeline seemed predictable, like of course they’d get to this point of boning and at least one of them owning their feelings like it was some big discovery that the guy in high school he messed around with he had true feelings for.

I read this story. I read all the comments providing the in depth character analysis. The uncensored confirms what I knew- he’s got that dog in him and why are we not putting sweet bebe Yuri on the watchlist with Zhenya, etc? The list of BL tops going absolutely insane over their bottoms? He looks so excited but damn.

Something has been off about their faces for the past few chapters. I don’t know if the artist is trying to convey something with the eyes, but it’s all looking a bit sharp and extra wide. From the side the eyes are taking up half their faces

I hope this doesnt turn into Yours to claim where it’s got so much going on and also nothing going on.
I hope this is some kind of turning point for these two for the sake of plot if season one is really going to end in the 30’s. Our MC was so flaccid during this encounter which I actually commend the artist for illustrating and focusing on with his panels because there is no doubt he did not want that. But at the same time, what was he expecting? For his friend to be gentle?
I hope the chapters dive in on where a lot of this miscommunication originates- I’m still thinking it was the brother or whomever the kid is that’s haunting MC’s memories. Like, did ML get it twisted all those years ago that his feelings were invalid or he was just meant to be a degenerate? Did the people around him fail him?
And we still don’t know how MC got tangled up with Mafia Daddy and what that relationship is.
I really hate that we’re going in circles between these two acting on feelings, getting scared, then acting on feelings, etc. I also have a hard time imaging what end game actually looks like for these two because with some other red flags, we see development/ borderline Stockholm syndrome ( code name anastasia).
Lastly, the artist needs to get consistent with mole placement and how soft they were drawing MC, but those are just complaints :-)

ML already confirmed in that one chapter that he had fantasies of rape / sex with MC to “reaffirm” that his feelings for MC were never there. I’m not surprised that chp 23 is going in the direction it’s going because he’s holding on to anger. RIP to our MC’s butt hole next chapter because ML is going to rage fuck him until the story develops and we get into soft loving feelings.
BUT… I want to know what caused the whole high school break up. ML seemed genuinely interested in MC in the flash backs, then we can piece together the brother most likely had a hand in turning them against eachother…like, soooo much would be resolved if there was just a conversation. I am here for the drama though!

I started this last night and am at chapter 43. Why did the ML all of a sudden shrink down to the size of a CHILD in the span of like, 15 chapters? It’s giving “ Manhattan Baby” vibes. I want to shake this MC and tell him he’s not stupid because he’s ignorant, he’s ignorant because he is stupid stupid.

The comments are either : “ omg saw the Raws! He got gang raped never reading again!!” To “ omg, dropping asap because he had consensual sex with characters that I don’t find attractive! Story line is weak!”
