I feel like Shinjae is getting way too much hate?! to be clear, I don't condone his actions one bit, and he should absolutely take the time to reflect and apologize properly... but there are also semes in other stories doing way worse shit yet I don't see the same type of energy and hate direced at them? instead they're "hot" and romanticized.. or "if you don't like it don't read" comments. I'm not pointing that out to defend his actions, just an observation.
In Shinjae's case he made a humanly mistake, feels remorseful and is trying to right his wrong. Given his upbringing, and the fact that he had no ill intentions, I feel like we can show him a little more grace?! People make mistakes, and how you act afterwards does matter!
on a side note, I wish more mcs had more self-respect and a backbone like this one.

long story short, he was virtually friends with mc through an online game for 5 years... then met mc in real life, and shortly after, he figured out mc was his gaming friend and fell in love with hi. Then he learned mc was actually in love with his online self, but he chose not to reveal his identity to mc but then mc found out and felt really betrayed and now they're fighting

Shinjae took it to heart and like, "If you're not gonna be honest with me, why should I?" And the lies just keep going until they went out of control. If people just keep blaming Shinjae, try looking from his perspective first. It feels unfair, y'know?

thank you for all the quick uploads, and I hope the artist doesn't take the negative comments to heart. I'm personally not bothered at all because I'm so invested in the plot itself. It's so well-written and engaging! the more I read the more curious I become. The relationship between Clay and Jin is also so wholesome!! I love the communication and boundaries! I love how much of a green flag Clay is despite being a gangster/criminal. There's so many toxic mls out there with childhood trauma as an excuse for them mistreating and abusing the mc, so Clay's character is a breath of fresh air!

Personally i like when the seme gets jealous like this. There is such a thing as fantasies. When i was young i read romance novels and all the men were forceful. Would i like that in real life? No. But this isn't real life. People should enjoy their fantasies without feeling ashamed. Jmo
