is it not true that because of websites like these, it helps spread publicity for the actual authors? how many people do you know that actually buy chapters? is this not more or less advertisement for the manga? there are some people who don't think this way, but most of the people on here would definitely support the author if they have the funds but unfortunately they don't. but because of sites like this, it only encourages people to actually buy the chapters and supporting authors while also enabling people who can't afford chapters to also enjoy it. also, the thousands if not millions of people on this site will see this manga and indirectly influences them to search for more on lezhin and giving everyone more publicity and maybe even more money+support. you are just being incredibly selfish assuming everyone can afford chapters and trying to be a self proclaimed "vigilante" for lezhin when in reality all you are doing is being an asshole who does nothing but ruin things for others.

and clearly you definitely haven't heard about the lezhin scandals where authors don't get paid enough or at all, which is why some manwhas ended early (i don't remember which ones though.) funny how you cry about people "paying" for the scans because of buffy but you still support shit companies like that.

All people I know buy lezhin charapter. But no one share on the website like this. If you share here no one will buy it because you have read it already. And even if you have money you won’t buy it since it’s already online. Have no money isn’t excuses. My friend was banned from Koogi twitter because she was telling koogi that not everyone can buy it. I support author not lezhin.and I sure know about scandal . And I support people like Silb Who fight against it. But for now lezhin is only one that wester people can use, peanut and bomtoon is impossible to use and buy charapter if you don’t have korean ID card or phone number. And lezhin is only one who translate it in english .people here talk too much and don’t understand the probl . But still many authors don’t leave lezhin like Koogi mingwaa and other that mean if their webtoon is famous their income are high and good.

No need to apologize, as long as it’s not something like „if I get that sum I will give you a new chapter“ ( that could get you into trouble with the law as you‘re selling content of someone else) donations are totally fine. Everyone can choose for themselves if they want to donate, buy the chapter from lezhin or keep their money, so thanks for the chapters:)

You’re providing for those who cannot afford, yet people think you’ll stop providing if they donate.

Donating = contributing and helping out the provider and of course, it’s done based on free will

That's really horrible! Some people just see themselves as some sort of "social justice warrior" but this is just crossing the line big time. I mean nobody on these kind of sites kan be called "innocent" in that prospect because most don't (but let's not forget can't) pay for this even though originally every story on this would have costed everyone on this site money. It's really hypocritical to call you out like that but still visit these kind of sites. I'm sorry people threaten you like that, you really don't deserve that and trust me (even if you don't hear from them) A LOT more people appreciate what you're doing than the the ones that don't. Exactly. I think also people are assuming that the uploader is the translator, rather than just screenshotting the official english release from lezhin. It's already a slap in the face to the author who has managed to secure an international license, so it would be rather uncouth in this occasion to ask for donations. If people have money to spare then they should buy the chapters directly from lezhin, there is no need for a 'middle man' seeing as the webtoon is already published in english x

Asking for money from uploads that are officially translated, and thus profiting is generally a faux pas. If people have money then they should support the author by buying the English chapters from Lezhin.

Missing the point. Lezhin chapters are fairly cheap, if people have money then they should spend it buying chapters themselves rather than give profit to someone who just sent screenshots into mangago for people to read freely. Scanlation isn't about making money, even teams that have to buy hard copies of manga then translate them don't make money, they do it because they want others to read manga in different languages and stop when it gets licensed in said languages. Renta uploads get flack for being uploaded on here if they are licensed in English, yet it's apparently okay to upload comics from Lezhin. The money should go to the actual content creators, not anyone with a lezhin account that can upload ripped chapters onto here.

You fairly have a point but since i dont work and i do this just for the pleasure of it i ask people if they want to donate so i can continue buying chapters because 16 coins is 6$ dollars and if someone just sent me 1$ or maybe even .25 cents that will help to buy more for people who cant buy them for themselves and since they are donations if they dont want to or they cant i will not quit uploading them cuz i just do it for the fun of it. Buffy, you still asked for money. Calling it "donations" doesn't dispute this. The work you post is just taken directly from Lezhin's English site, therefore the self-promotion at the end of the chapters you post comes off as a bit uncalled for, as their is no translation work involved, anyone can buy and understand these uploads. If people have money, then they don't need a middle man to import japanese magazines or translate non-english languages, they should just buy the chapters directly from lezhin. Most Lezhin uploads on here don't have the uploaders promoting themselves or asking for money, most scanlation teams who translate don't ask for money either as it comes off as another slap in the face to the artist. Mangago is already profiting off of these uploads, and one upload of a chapter licensed in english on lezhin here, could mean the artist is losing out on potentially thousands of readers from buying each episode. Killing Stalking for example was uploaded a few hours after it was officially posted in english on lezhin.
