tbh is pretty on brand! kids then to play, specially the thugs, and since the Mc is older he's just like ok let's get over this while the kids give name to their own movements. I think it's a nice touch to separate them and show their differences in maturity

I belive that Garnet the red head is the Crown prince, since he is aware of what happened 20ys ago in the first jewellery box and that could be possible if his parents had taken part in it (the emperor and empress)
Also he seems to have good reflexes and swordsmaship (typical CP style).
Other reasons why i came to this conclusion are the fact that he sems to like the purple girl and she gives of the sweet Mary Sue FL vibe while he gives off the kindness and coolheadednes of a ML (im aware they're not the MCs but in the typical i got reincarnated in a novel trope they would be the MCs of the original story)
