Came back after marinating this for weeks and I have a theory, what if Wei Yun isn't actually dead in the future? Going back to ch131 it wasn't stated that he died, rather Zichen stated it vaguely "Only you and his mom know what happened to Wei Yun at the hospital" and then they lost contact with them after the incident, it was also stated that Yutong blamed himself for what happened to Wei Yun which means he could probably be in a dire state, possibly a coma, now back to the current timeline, Yuling got the number of Wei Yun's half brother which could be a hint, if they lost contact with them in the future timeline there could be a possibility that through Wei Yun's half brother they can gain contact with them once again, if the events in the future cannot be change (referring back to the chapter of the old lady telling them that) then Wei Yun would still undergo a comatose phase but there will be certain changes like personal issues with Wei Yun and Yutong's families, knowing that Wei Yun's mother now feels more happier and more safer in this timeline rather than the last timeline which means there would be no need to lose contact with them... But I also have a theory that the reason they lost contact with Yutong in the previous timeline was because of Wei Yun's father but anyways thanks for listening to my ted talk ╮(^▽^)╭
They did not add the Lee Sayoung card board cut out scene from the novel NOOOO
The novel is definitely worth the read! Although the romance is a bit slow in progress since the novel focuses more on the plot (which is a complete spoiler so I won't spoil) but it never misses with the comedic and romantic undertones, if I remember correctly this chapter of the manhwa is currently at ch39 of the novel, but do heed if you plan to read the novel, the manhwa did miss a lot of details from previous chapters of the novel, especially this chapter, it did not entirely mention the details of ch37-38 where Cha Eui-Jae fought other monsters since this one directly Transitioned to him going towards the boss' lair which means we did not get to see the Sayoung card board cut out () , not only that, in previous chapters the manhwa missed out a lot and I mean A LOT of details from the novel, if you are a manhwa only then it is fine but if you plan to read the novel, I suggest you start from the very beginning since they left out some important details, especially the one where Sayoung tried to do Morse code to get Cha Eui-Jae's attention when he was eavesdropping in his and Jung Bin's conversation, which was sadly not mentioned in the manhwa
However, the novel currently has 280+ chapters and still ongoing so I highly recommend reading the novel considering the manhwa is still in early chapters so it's not that hard to catch up!!
Love you (for explaining).
How long did it take you to read it? Currently I started a couple of novels but don't have the energy to read them through. Like I'll get a few chapters in and then I'm tired. Or take a break after a long haul then picking it back up is hard. I think I started reading

Which is on here as a promo but no manhwa yet (if ever) so only novel is available:

And last week was trying to catch up on Trap? Trap! Which is an Omegaverse novel on Tappytoon's. But lost/fizzed out. In actually read that while back and was trying to reread to refresh my brain. It's completed now. But I think (after a faster reread) still only managed to read only a few chapters in and I think I still have half a novel left. And this one is a short novel too.
So just give me a rough estimate how long it takes you. So I don't feel discouraged. Since this one is so long. I hope to be able to read it thru
Btw, it did mention that EuiChae killed off enough monsters as to help out with the civilians, but he cannot go and save them individually because that will reveal his strength. So he did wipe out enough monsters to keep them relatively safe. Since everyone is scattered after being sucked into the rift. It took me a minute to figure out those monsters are dead bcz he had killed them. Not because they were already dead, or that the rift has torn them apart. It took me awhile to figure it out bcz they looked like part of the vegetation. So they didn't actually showed him fighting them, just that they were already passed away. But yeah, for sure, man was required a lot of illustrations so they can't cover everything. Esp. if not central or impactful to the storyline. I feel they did a really good job to insert humor in (imo) almost every panel. Bcz characterization. Their facial expressions and body language and their thought bubbles ALWAYS full of sarcasm. I think, as novel readers, you would have expected more. Esp. if particular scenes really sits well with you. But as a manhwa reader (first and foremost) I find it already chock full of humor I can barely process let alone more. And what ever is happening in the story has been clear and sufficient. But anyway. Thanks for the info. And btw, how have you guys known about these stories to have read them first?!? Most often times when I pick up a novel is when I find the manhwa interesting, or more precisely, bcz it is behind the novel.
Ohh I'm also keeping a close eye on the Sub gong novel!! I usually make sure the translations are completed if its a completed series so I can binge read it but for Hunter's Gonna Lay Low,,,, since it's an ongoing novel I have this habit where I read it until I get to the latest chapters so the hype and excitement is there lol, and yeah I think you're right, the storyline is clear and sufficient for manhwa readers, I guess it's just the fact I read the novel first before the manhwa and not all adaptations usually follow the original medium (details and such, unless it is relevant to the plot) but overall this adaptation is pretty decent so far. Also one word: Ridibooks () the home of pretty much every Korean BL novels lolol there was this announcement last year that this will have a manhwa adaptation and I was curious so I found the novel and got hooked with its description and thus here I am. And if I can estimate the time per chapters it would take you roughly 1 day to read up to 50 chapters and then another 2-4 days for 51-110 (plot thickens and a bit of info dump so it takes time to process) unless you're free the whole day I think you can finish 100 chapters if you're really into it and quick to adapt to information, happened to me during my readathon with ch101-203 (I had nothing to do so I just read it all to kill time plus a few chapters weren't that long). But it usually depends to the reader on how you can easily grasp the plot and all of its information or if you have time, tbh I stopped on ch240 smth because of school work and I'm planning to resume my readathon since it's Christmas break now and I have a lot of time on my hands, if you're planning to read the novel then I wish you luck!! It's really worth it, I promise!
I don't get it with the season 2 being different from the novel, does that mean they'll change the directions of the plot? There is a chasing arc (forgot what volume) where Huimin got into a dilemma and went crazy because he found out that he and the novel Huimin are the same person, so is the Iheon in the novel and his best friend in his own world, it's like different universe but the same souls (but the ML did not realized that until the future chapters),,,, I hope the changes are not too major to the point this story loses major points in the plot
I MTL'ed half of the novel because the translations aren't that far off yet but here's the link to the raw version: https://booktoki465.com/novel/4191348?stx=%EC%95%84%EB%8A%91%ED%95%9C+%EC%A7%91%EC%B0%A9
