Hated this at the beginning cuz I thought it would be totally weird, but Theo’s character development is just so good. Umehiko is teaching Theo how to live again, teaching him how to be human. Truly I love them so much. I’m normally not that attached to a couple, especially in manga similar to this one, but it’s genuinely pretty good, hoping for an update soon!!

Obviously the mc is being an asshole rn, but to be fair all of this happened within like 3 days. Put that into perspective, almost die multiple times, soul bonded to some random guy who claims he knew you, being told you lost your memories, getting your arm severed….
All within the span of less than a week
He’s very confused and he doesn’t know that much about the ML, but he obviously cares about him despite that. He’s just having a hard time accepting everything, we’re only on ch. 20 so let’s give him a chance!!!
He’s also spent his entire life doing what he does (and that includes the almost dying), so I would be a fkn asshole too. Not to mention he’s been somewhat isolated from people because he causes them to have bad luck. So Being chased and prodded by a dokkabi who tells me I’m not who I’ve known I was since I was born would make me meaner than he is. He is actually very patient, considering his circumstances.
Also, I don’t know if you mean caring in a passive way, but that would be my guess. The MC is caring regardless of who he’s helping. Like how he cared to help the little ghost girl who was looking for her father. He’s just a caring type. So I applaud him even being driven to help the ML since they’ve been forcibly bound together. Eventually though, I’m sure he’ll come to care for the ML like he cares about that other hot shaman we haven’t seen in a minute as a person in his life, rather than someone he’s meant to help. I just hope he gets to stay who he is and that he doesn’t get erased just to become who the ML remembers. I need the ML to see HIM and fall for HIM.
Yes I completely agree!! He's at least in his 20s by now and he's spent those 2 decades believing he's someone only for a dokkaebi (who attacked him the moment they met) to tell him he's not. He's honestly being considerably patient given the circumstances!
And yes, that's what I meant. We see that he genuinely does care about the ML and is a caring person as a whole. He also got his arm severed just to help out a teammate for god's sake. He did so much just to help the ML despite it not benefitting him at all. It may be hard to see on the surface, but he does care. The ML is the one being kind of pushy if you ask me
im DESPERATELY trying to have some faith in this guy but lord is he crazy i read the other manhwa by the same author (boy meets girl) and it looked like one was crazy at first and then both turned out to be crazy so it... cancelled out?? Kinda?? This one though... not too sure.
