
This truly is a feminist work. Absolutely. A feminist work which, I find, closely resembles the structure/objective of many 20th century texts that portray the woman's role within a particular community, at a particular time (the standpoint is, of course, critical of various aspects of the chosen society). While reading this, I've often been, naturally, enraged. I couldn't help it. But the English major in me was elated. Oh, yes, I really loved it, the story, as well as the art style!
