I think she stayed out for a night or two before Seta found her on accident (this is in chapter 14). You have to understand that 1) She does have a confidence issue and 2) this is a time period when women are not supposed to be out spoken. That being said, I think the fact that she was establishing ground rules in terms of him having a mistress was good of her. The reason being that while she’s not fighting to keep him to herself, she is still establishing herself as his wife and what she expects as a wife. Again, due to the time period and her own feelings, it’s not surprising that she’s not telling him don’t do it again. That is… until he said that he was done with his playboy lifestyle, in which case she did more or less say”don’t do this again”.
I know that for more modern sensibilities, this may seem like a weak response, but given the time period, it was pretty bold of her.

Stories that mention the fact that a character is overweight, has them stay at least on the hefty side… being heavy set myself, it would be nice to have a heroine who is more bulky than dainty. Especially since for some it’s not just a case of them being heavier due to excess eating, their bodies are just designed to be bigger. I don’t care so much about weight being used as a villain trope, I just wish it was also used as a heroine Trope as well

Just reread chapter 47 and I realized that Jay changed his gloves before dealing with Eris! As in, he refuses to let her touch that which the princess has touched! Then throwing away the gloves to show that he considers Eris to be nothing but garbage (which in a way, she is). Love the symbolism as well in showing his transition from doing things in the light, to that of the dark. Beautiful subtle details there
I feel like someone just wanted to get things over with so they dumped all the translated chapters at once.
That being said… it wasn’t a bad ending, but it did ring a bit hollow. But seeing Melvin in a disheveled state was amusing.
