Yeah I agree. I hate when the people around them and esp the Semes push the "girl in the relationship" stereotypes and titles on the bottom, its super annoying especially when they protest against it.

They only introduced him as a woman to the family to avoid any problems(ie; his family being homophobic and hurting Minjoon), they only call him mama because that’s how Touma refers to him, whenever Touma isn’t around the guards call him by his name, and the only person who calls him “madam” is Shaw because he likes to tease Minjoon and thats just how their relationship is, in this chapter Ren didn’t call him madam in the raws he actually says “Minjoon-nim” . Also I believe the novel translator mentioned touma realized it’s not okay to call Minjoon mama in the future and he starts calling him “Joon” and “my love”. it’s okay to feel uncomfortable by the story, I just wanted to clarify that they’re not trying to feminize him in the actual story and it just seems to be lost in translation (づ￣ ³￣)づ

Thank you! I actually really love the story so far (except the leopard tattoos ofc) I really like how Daiki has no prejudice against falling in love again although this time, with a man. I love Daiki’s late wife for being accepting, forgiving and sweet. I love Minjoon’s whole attitude when it comes to Touma. And for Touma, we all love Touma, that’s just the standard ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Yeah. That’s like saying someone trans is being sexist because they don’t want to be their assigned gender. If someone doesn’t feel as though their gender is who they are, of course they’re not gonna like it.

I think one part of the story is about mc realizing girl have problems to go through too, and also how sleeping around isn’t the best thing to do when he might be hurting others(tho there’s def a lot of smut that makes you forget about that for a bit lol) that’s legit the reason why he turned into a girl in the first place, because he probably unknowingly hurt a girl and she wanted revenge.

The only thing I can think of is when Shion went on to say that he wasn't a slut as a female but no mention of being one as a male. Other than that, I don't recall them saying anything sexist. They're just players and slept around.

I think what's bothersome with this manga regarding sexism is the way the main guys would treat their relationships with women, very much players, but it's as if the entire time they were in love with each other without realizing it because they just went along doing it with all the women, because of course they couldn't be gay even if they didn't seem to ever find a women they truly loved

They didn’t “expect to be fawned over” they got fawned over because of their good looks. Don’t blame them for being good looking, getting the women, and having plenty of one night stands. One night stands are a one night thing, you have sex and leave. That’s just what it is, they knew what they were getting into. You’re not supposed to bring your feelings into these types of stuff. Don’t expect something more than sex, like feelings. They didn’t agree to be in a relationship nor is it required. I’m just saying that this happens all the time and is normal, even in the real world. People are just looking to relieve stress and not get involved with the other peoples feelings and personal problems. Simple.

Although what you say is very true but what I disliked with the portrayal of this is that when he is guy he can't wait to fuck around with girsl, which is fine, but when he transforms into a girl suddenly that changes and he doesn't want to be seen as a slut? So it was fine cycling as a boy but not as a girl. The same for his friend. He had no problem fucking random girls left and right and competing with each other to see who could sleep or catch the most girls but when the person he has started developing feelings for turns into a girl it is now suddenly a problem?

Yh this is the issue with it. It conforms to those hypocritical cliches.

It’s not that Shion didn’t want to be seen as a slut, it’s just that Shion said he/she wouldn’t fuck anyone other than Rui. So basically Shion’s just being “loyal” ig you can say. (Not loyal as in they’re in a relationship, loyal as in trust and getting through something together type of thing) Plus there is no reason for Shion to sleep around, so why would he/she? It’s just that it’s dangerous to be with random men when he is a girl. He’s/she’s not a man anymore so that means Shion has to be careful and it’s crazy that your kinda “encouraging” it. Why would Shion have to sleep around to prove it’s not sexist? I’m just saying with the scene where Shion almost got raped, you don’t think that traumatized him/her? Even if he doesn’t show it, it most have effected him/her somehow. And obviously Shion doesn’t WANT to let anyone fuck him (other than Rui of course) plus you should already know that he has a ego problem. He/she feels like he’s/she’s being dominated and he doesn’t like to feel like he is weaker. Overall i don’t think this story is a sexist story, this is actually one of my favorite stories on this app. I love their personalities, Shion is my favorite cause he’s goofy and fun all around. Pls don’t agree to subjects/things that people say if you don’t know what you are talking about please. Not trying to be rude or anything just trying to educate, because I think you have the wrong idea about the story overall. It is not sexist so educate yourself before you make an assumption or even bring up the “title”/genre ig. If this was meant as a reply to me, LOLLL. All I agreed with is that those cliches are true about this story. It's not so much sexist as it is an entire toxic cliche of the roles of people in society, specifically regarding how men are percieved to be. Again, it is portrayed in a very conservative world per usual, and so conveniently, the main guys are players, and only when one of them ends up transformed into the opposite gender do they start realizing their feelings for each other (〜￣△￣)〜 They genuinely only started learning the weight of genuine feelings and a genuine relationship after they could see themselves under a different light first, man & woman, rather than man & man because that's how unaware they are about different sexualities/their own subconscious feelings.

In this sense, it is very much sexist, not only toward women, but to men as well. To be sexist can mean to simply want a gender to be one way and respond to something in a way that blatantly showcases closemimdedness and restricts someone or something to be or act a certain way. This manga fits this because of the way it handles the concept of very sexual 'straight' men only learning the value of a partner and genuine relationship after one of them becomes a woman themselves. Even now, if for some reason the two main guys were to part, who knows if they really will have understood their lesson to the point of no longer being players with women. It's almost as if the only reason they are able to stop being that careless with partners is because "they're gay for each other", almost as if, because they were originally straight or smthn, they actually take going into a relationship with each other that much more seriously vs with a woman. This is the problem with this cliche situation. It is sexist in general, mainly towards how men are viewed, but not sexist in the way people usually think of being sexist.

In short, what I mean by all this is how it seems to be a double-standard situation for the most part. Like them being able to be serious with a gay relationship because of societal consequences and weighing their male pride while being careless with women because it was what they grew up with and they virtually face 0 consequences being loose with women. It's annoying, but nonetheless they are doofusses I plan on accompanying until the end

I still very much think that they thought of themselves as being cool for sleeping around and being fawned over, but thought of girls as sluts if they did the same thing. You also see this when Shion is a girl. At the beginning they saw themselves as kings, and the women as more like concubines giving up their bodies for them, instead of queens (the equivalent of kings). They didn't see women as their equals. So that is sexism. But I don't want to debate this anymore.
