PEOPLE ARE FORGETTING THAT HELENA CAN'T FIGHT BACK. I'm upset that she seems to want to have her cake and eat it. She wants Eris to be her friend, but she won't walk away from the prince. She does not want the prince, but she'll smile and go to the ball with him. She does not want to cause trouble to the other maids, but she won't/can't do any work.
When I wrote my social climber comment, I wrote it after saying, "I'd be more forgiving if she was naive or a social climber/doing it on purpose." (or something like that).
