Ever since this scene from Little Mushroom chapter 39, I've never been the same. Let me tell you, after this scene, for the remaining of THE ENTIRE SECOND VOLUME UNTIL AN ZHE CAME BACK, I WAS BAWLING, I SERIOUSLY COULDN'T STOP CRYING. I THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA DIE LIKE THAT AND WAS NEVER GONNA SEE LU FENG AGAIN AND WHEN HE ADMITTED HE WANTED TO SEE LU FENG AGAIN I WANTED TO K*S, CAUSE HOW TF WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF THEY WERE GONNA MEET AGAIN OR NOT??? ESPECIALLY WHEN LU FENG WAS ALL THE WAY BACK IN THE HUMAN BASE WHILE HE WAS AT THE RESEARCH INSTITUTE IN THE ABYSS. DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON WHEN HE SACRIFICED HIMSELF, I'M NOT EXAGGERATING WHEN I SAY I had to put my phone down, cover my face and JUST CRY FOR A GOOD 5 MINUTES, I COULDN'T READ MORE CAUSE MY EYES WERE SO BLURRY. LIKE I WAS ACTUALLY ABOUT TO END IT ALL. AND THE
"He was just a little mushroom..." GIRL BYE PLEASE KILL ME. WHY DID THE AUTHOR HAVE TO ADD THAT LINE???? I WAS ALREADY GOING THROUGH THE 5 STAGES OF GRIEF AND THAT LINE SHATTERED ME EVEN MORE. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO TELL Y'ALL JUST HOW HARD I WAS CRYING, IVE NEVER CRIED SO HARD LOOKING AT A PIECE OF FICTION IN MY LIFE. (except Igneel's death scene in fairy tail).
BUT THE NOVEL WAS SO SO AMAZING, LU FENG THAT MAN AND HIS FUCKING DIALOUGE, IT MADE THE STORY 100X MORE SENTIMENTAL AND THE FUCKING

LIKE I WAS DONE, IF I WASN'T SO CURIOUS WHAT HAPPENED I WOULD TOSSED MY PHONE ACROSS THE ROOM AND JUMPED THAT'S HOW DEPRESSED I WAS I WAS QUESTIONING ALL MY LIFE DESICIONS. (Like I was actually avoiding reading the novel for a long time because I HATE, HATE angst, but the manhua and the plot was so interesting and I heard so many good reviews so I decided to check it out) IT WAS THE WORST AND BEST DESCISION OF MY LIFE. LIKE IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE IVE READ A STORY THAT GOOD. (I think this was also right after I read the Rainbow City novel as well SO THE BAR WAS HIGHHH) LIKE I GOT A FEW SPOILERS AND I THOUGHT I COULD HANDLE IT, BITCH NOPE. NO AMOUNT OF SPOILERS COULD'VE PREPARED ME FOR THE EMOTIONAL DAMAGE. LIKE IF I SUED THE AUTHOR FOR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, I WOULD'VE WON THE CASE IN A HEARTBEAT.
IT WAS LIKE 1 AM AT NIGHT AND MY PILLOW WAS SOAKE, MY BED WAS FLOODED WITH TEARS, MY DESK WAS FILLED WITH SNOT FILLED TISSUE PAPER. LIKE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT NOVEL FUCKING BROKE ME, IT DESTROYED EVVERY FIBER OF MY BEING, I'M NEVER READING ANGST AGAIN BUT IT WAS SO SO GOOD. (which is why I bought the physical copy of the manhua, all the official chapters of the manhua, both physical copies of the novel raw and the official physical English copy of Judgement day) SIGHHHH

This must’ve been that good u wrote all this like this is the effort I try to give in my English class but fail.

OFC I TOOK 5 COLLEGE LEVEL ENGLISH CLASSES WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND PASSED WITH ALL As. ANYTHING FOR MY FAVORITE BLS (just wait till you see the 14k word summary I wrote on the rainbow city novel after the manhwa -._-.)

But when the guys tried to kill the ML it went downhill for me when the ML found out and he said the people tracked MC's phone

My jaw dropped when I found out all of those people he slept with signed a contract saying that HE COULD SLEEP AND DRUGGED THEM LIKE WTFΣ( ￣□￣||) Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

That's what happened people started taking pills to drugged them


The one thing that hit me right in the feels was when the people he slept with and drugged were leaving him cus they call him a monster and didn't want to be with him
