if you’re paying attention you’ll know/realize most of the good stuff happens to yuno in a typical mc kind of way. it’s similar to how this other anime, ace no diamond, has their actual mc be absolute trash and in tern makes their ‘rival’ get upgrades VERY easily. as in bros already in the big leagues while the actual mc is struggling just to stay above ground. but anyways the way they focus on yuno which in term leaves us with not seeing asta for 20 chapters or 50 episodes. when asta is literally the mc…. (exaggerated ofc but you get it. i hope u do T-T) and you can especially see it when we first start off in this manga/anime. the absolute obvious and disgusting way people treat the two differently even tho they both have a rough upbringing. and then the writers cover it up with ‘i just don’t want your head to get big asta’ or a ‘i can’t let him think that i’m starting to like him’ ofc not exactly quoted but it’s quite similar from my memory of the manga and anime. like just bc asta doesnt have magic doesn’t mean you can treat a person like trash. also the way they did a naruto and sasuke type of vibe for the two… you can clearly tell they wanted yuno to shine so you wouldn’t forget about astas ‘rival’. maybe i’m reading to into it or maybe i’m right who cares this is just what i think while i’m watching/reading black clover T-T
