In the novel he didnt reveal himself as anastacius tho... But yes he got to enter the palace impersonating himself as the wizard of the tower ( the great wizard of the tower is Lucas) and by the time that he got in the imperial palace claude was already healthy and got his memories back long ago. As anastacius is impersonating..... claude ang lucas didn't stop him although they knew that he was a fake
Also during this scenes Athy will be a student in the tower so she can learn more about how to control her mana..
And one more correct me if im wrong I DONT REMEMBER SCENE LIKE THIS IN NOVEL where anastacius used another cursed spell to kill claude
Cause when lucas and anastacius talk one on one . Anastacius said that he cursed claude only for fun or onky to prank him but he didn't realize that it got that serious... So honestly I don't know what is happening in the manhwa being this frustrating ¯_( ° ʖ ° )_/¯
