He was done with amount of blame he was taking from JK like never trusted him since the beginning, he saw his effort vanishing because of one mistake, that's what disappointed and hurted him the most, so he just wanted to fucking leave and take care with his grandma. So all this happening now is not gonna take the same thinking pattern in the head of Kim Dan as we do from our outer perspective, as people who know his value and who know that JK is developing attachement towards him. To him, it's just another scenario repeating itself, and if that can make him get rid of JK, then let's do this and finish it all already.

It's really unexpected for one of the MLs to have the same colour and shade of hair as the MC.. it's almost like breaking one of the cardinal rules of multiple love interests in manhwa

Whether the manhwa artist did a good job or not is up to the reader to decide but for the record, Cárcel is the best looking man in the novel canon. Everywhere he goes, there is someone who talks about his looks. Even children. Factually, Ines describes him as the most handsome man in the world without or beyond borders.

Here is a quote where Ines compares Carcel and Emiliano’s appearance directly. This came up in ep43 but the manhwa, as usual, left out the part where Ines compares the appearance of both men and simply just talks about who would be faithful to their pregnant wife.

Binged this one in 2 days and holy smokes I was not ready for this! I remember first reading this when it first came out and this is not what I was expecting at all! Poor Cho ah only wanted to be a physician and help folks. Poor Mujin only wanted love!

On a real note though, this shit was fucked. It's a good read because it's not the usual fluff, heartfelt mushy love, it's the possessive and obsessive love. Mujin was so starved for it that he basically ruined any form of pure live from the beginning. Cho ah sadly wore his heart on his sleeve, making him the prey to all these monsters(Besides Jisung).

The ending is a whole entire thing itself. A lot of people didn't like the ending but personally I did. The feeling of impending doom, suffering, and empathy really gets me. I honestly cried at the end because of how unfair and torturous it was, especially for Cho ah. As I read it I could only hope that it was just a fucked off dream, but oh man.

Anyways, it's a good read! I really enjoyed it for the story and emotional damage it gave me! :D Though I only recommend it if you can handle heavy topics and scenes of gore and SA.

The one started pretty good like I was hooked at the beginning but once the separation plot came, everything went hill down. There are so many loopholes as in what happened to her mom (maybe I'm forgetting this one), what exactly happened during the time they were away like at least cover 10 chapters regarding that and now everything feels rushed and our mc who I had high hopes on feels like those female leads who always needs saving from her prince charming. Doing everything based on emotions alone and even after that, not understanding her own feelings deeply cause we all can agree that the reunion was a failure where again the girl had to work her ass off and act desperate. I had high hoped ngl but now they just seem like puppets of author without any feeling with the actual story.

Seriously, do not read if you don’t want a huge spoiler. This adds context to the death Ines saw. This also gives the answer why the manhwa is called The Broken Ring.
