I read some spoilers from reddit in regard to the novel. The ML is the father and she actually has sex with her brothers. I really hope this does not follow the novel. Not only is that clearly just incest fetish from the author, but they are all actual trash. While I do hate the cliche of the original husband doing a 180 and now being loving/caring and becomes the ML, I'd much prefer that over whatever the hell the novel does. I'm truly disgusted.

While I'm not a fan of the overly sexualized drawings of the woman in this manhua, I'm pleasantly surprised the fan service has been super minimal in comparison to lots of others and it doesn't seem to be quite heading in the harem root as the MC is quite devoted to only one person and while at the beginning it might have seemed to heading in that direction, apart from the demon queen having one off instance of saying she had feelings, it's never mentioned or talked about again so far and there's been no development towards that either. So far I'm honestly surprised that the plot/storyline in the main focus and hope it continues that way

Wow, so you blocked me from replying because you don't know how to have an actual conversation with someone who has a different opinion. You clearly have very little emotional intelligence and only know how make straw man arguments and insult people when you actually have nothing to say and little understanding on a topic.Good luck with becoming a functioning adult.

Ngl

I honestly wish just one manga/manhwa/manhua/webtoon would deviate from the "I need to save this girl from the consequences of her own choices and actions because she's supposed to be a love interest", it's tiring and there isn't even chemistry or a connection between the two. I'd feel less annoyed if her character wasn't so insufferable and there was an actual connection between them, but there just isn't and she is.

Idk if its just the bad translation or the actual story, but the characters and story seem so shallow even with literally every single character having trauma. The story lacks depth for me personally and the MC's very, very soft personality is grating; she trusts way too easily and will waiver on her convictions with the slightest breeze. Don't even get me started on the weird pairing they have between her and Hardwin, while he's definitely the best option personality wise, him developing feelings for someone who looks identical to his sister is gross, especially since she's literally acting as his sister. Also makes no sense that the MC has had zero training in etiquette and every other subject a nobel would have been taught, especially since she's supposed to be taking the place of someone who was the heir and Hardwin is like yeah, you need to go to this ball and neither of them at being careful at all about her meeting with Lenon (who suspects her)

as the story goes on, it's getting more and more annoying. I thought there was going to be actual character development but so far the only ones who actually have any development is the shitty ml and it just makes you feel bad for him overall and the original saintess that we barely get any chapters of. People seem to like the fl but honestly she annoys me the most. If she just even used one iota of one brain cell, she'd by less annoying and eden's entire character is trash.

I dont like her maid, I mean i have read many historical manhwa that i could say that her maid is too arrogant. I don't like how she was left unpunished, the female lead is also so naive. I get that her maid is her only companion but the way the maid is acting seems a bit off especially on the part when she gives her this specific tea. Will still read this tho lol

So I'm not sure why everyone is hating on the direction of the story, personally for me, the pacing is just like a majority of the pacing in other manga/manhwa/manhua of the same genre, and majority of this information was already pretty easy to see coming and was in fact foreshadowed. The only thing that's throwing me off is the fact that Duke Spes literally looks the same with or without the magic jewel, so I'm not sure how he's hiding his identity at all?

They seemed to have ended the story in like a "cute/happy ending", but the ML is clearly obsessive in an unhealthy way due to trauma and an incessant need for love. His actions are alarming to say the least, it really ruined it for me cause it's bordering on, if not out right abusive. Especially as the sex ends up turning into coercion and rape cause the ML literally won't stop when told to and told no. He literally stalked the MC and it's all just brushed off. Honestly, if the way this was framed was like "yeah, this is clearly wrong/scary", I would've been like ok, there are themes here they are exploring, but the fact that it's framed in a way of like "oh this is cute/endearing and is love" and none of the issues are addressed and it just kind of ends is really alarming and glorifying these kinds of abusive/obsessive "loves" that are really not love

This is cute and simple, I like it a lot but that being said, Youngwon's love feels kind of shallow and honestly more about what Hyunwoo does for him and less about who Hyunwoo is as a person. Also the fact that Hyunwoo's entire personality and character were just completely overhauled and essentially thrown out. I like growth and development in characters but this feels almost a complete disregard of his character
