I prefer the theory where male onegas and female alphas all start of as intersex from the get go and theres no "puberty" that confirms later on. So it makes sense that male omegas and female alphas are rare. Non intersex people will go through normal puberty and will then be either alpha, beta, or omega.

In this case it makes sense for male omegas to be able to carry a baby and have natural birth which could then be dangerous, thus, Cesarean births. They can also father a child but maybe will have low fertility/ sperm count.

Same goes for female alphas where they can carry a child, and father a child with higher fertility.

This two extremes will technically have both reproductive organs in their body and can work / not work as well as intended.
