I've read a different manga with a similar story line but I can't remember the name. I used to compare the two. But it's super similar. Engaged but don't get along and were about the cancel the engagement. Girl falls down the stairs and everyone believes she has amnesia and basically dude says he agreed to his marriage proposal

The princess replaces her fiance with some shady looking guy who flirts with all the girls. The princess ends up pregnant so the king approves and the "villain" gets sent to exile and forced to marry a different girl. Idkk if this is enough details ?
Also, he feels bad that him and his wife get sent to exile especially to a place there the lord is hated (thanks to the previous lord) and they basically work their asses off to prove that they care for the common people
