So you're saying that if a guy who's clearly interested in you and you don't want that but he keeps pestering you, you wouldn't say "hey, stop that"? If it really makes you uncomfortable then wouldn't you do something to stop it? Rather than act annoyed all the time but still chats with him. How is that not giving false hope? I'm just saying that if she really wanted to stop him then she should've said it to his face instead of getting someone else to say it, replying/ignoring his texts, and accepting MC's gifts if she's really uncomfortable with it. If you didn't notice, every time he would try to initiate a convo girl replies with extremely short words or not reply at all. She would only reply when he mentions food.
