I have so many questions...what was baachans wish? what happened when Rin met Chiharu as a child (and why didn't Rin know he was male?) Also, did Inarisama say that if she anuls the contract Rin would be bound to Cjiharu even if he granted someone's wish again-that both sucks and makes no sense. BTW when are we going to see some sexual tension between the MCs? Why doesn't it feel like this chapter moved the plot forward? Yes, we finally see Chiharu going outside his comfort zone-going up on rooftops and walking in crowds and whatnot. But after reading chapter 5, I was hoping for something more to mend my frickin soul here. Venting is now over.
Please read the story again Hahaha ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Um...I've forgotten the exact details about the wish (will have to re-read that part), but I think the bit about Rin being bound was perhaps open to misinterpretation. I understood her to say that IF the contract ISN'T annulled but Chiharu continues to reject Rin, then Rin will continue to be bound to Chiharu even if they're not together because of Chiharu's alienation. Therefore, by annulling the contract, he can properly cut ties and free Rin to move on to someone else.
(Which, of course, makes Chiharu think that he doesn't want him to have some other random wish-bride, but also that Rin is only with him because of the wish, so maybe he's in his way and should free him.)
Dunno if you questions are just meant to let you frustration out or if you are seeking answers from other readers, but i shall take it seriously.
There has been no information of what baa-chan wished for, in price of Rin and Chiharu's engagement.
Rin does say he met Chiharu many years ago, but he also says he thought his wife to be a girl because of the name Chiharu, gives the impression that they didn't meet, I think he says they met, because he feel he know him that well from all baa-chans information and stories.
But i think Hinohara-sensei will go in the direction of Chiharu needing to be saved from something, and only a wish could do that. Baa-chan then making the engagement as the price for saving the person is her way of looking out for Chiharu's future, that way she is sure he will continue to have a family.
Is anyone else worried for big daddy Misumi? Did Yoshiro foreshadow that whale and shark may turn on him? I hope Hirata doesn't have them in his pocket. Also love Misumi's pokerface as Hirata lies to him about Yoshiro; I could never pull that off - in my head I'd be like 'are you fkg kidding me?' And my face would show it!
I think Misumi will be fine and he will have his day with Hirata.... especially after he finds out that he was the one who killed the man he loved.
1. That Inari can make changes to the marriage contract so things can work out between MCs.
2. That Kouta, the voice of reason, helps Chiharu get his sht together and work thru his feeling for Rin. (Knowing he loves Rin and giving up his life as he knows it are still 2 different things.)
3. That Chiharu confesses his feelings and Rin just thinks it's out of pity and rejects him. So Chiara just has to work harder.
At first, I was thinking somewhere along the lines of 3, but now that you mention it, 1 sounds possible ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
