yes! he regrets what he does. it does start off toxic but as the story goes uke’s past gets revealed and a lot of stuff goes down. the seme finds out about the uke’s past and feels regret. he also becomes more soft and possessive over the uke! personally i love this manhwa so i say give it a shot!

spoilers!!!! lots of spoilers!! i just reread my comment and ion even know what im talking about, good luck reading T^T i kinda skimmed thru it but from what i remember the mc finds a safe in ml office? and he opens it and finds the silence book inside. then he realizes that ml knew all along and was just dragging him along or something. mc calls gangster grandpa dude and gets money then makes a run for it. a few months go by and mc is shown living at an omega shelter? that he lived at in the book. his sisters from the “real world” live there too. ml shows up and apologizes mc doesn’t accept. ml finds out mc is pregnant. mc finds out that the “real world” he came from was never real. it was heaven, a place made up after he died that only had himself and ml in it. if i remember right the ml wrote the book himself and got mc to read it. they stay split for awhile after that and i don’t remember what comes next but there was only like 2 chapters left anyway. i do remember that at the end they end up together and baby was never shown. >:(
