I really like this MC, he is doing everything to get back to his time, because he knows that what is happening there is not "real". Chance (or whatever his name is) doesn't take the fact that he's gay in a good way and they walk away and even then the MC tries to be a good friend, MC is trying his best because he knows what Chance is feeling for he is not real and it really hurts, even if the chance to like him in this timeline, it is a false love, it is not real and that is what the MC must be thinking. remembering that the desire only changed Chance so telling things to him wouldn’t be easy or make sense, Lucy and Lucius act like in the past only the chance who changed.
