I think the primary reason why Chanwoo is so popular is because he's a "bottom" who's not weak-minded or docile-like in character. He's unique, not cliche. A man can choose to play the more "submissive" role in the bedroom, but that doesn't mean they're weak or pitiful in other territories of their life. I use quotations because being submissive in the bedroom doesn't really equate to the actual definition, it's just a role but anyways. He's everything I love in a bottom character, not some feeble, damsel in distress! He can stand up AND take care of himself and his personality shines through!!!!
