FL is 90% the problem. She distrusts him and doesn't let him speak. Honestly they're both damaged goods. After wasting many years they end up together. ML is devoted, but he took her revenge away and she kind of flounders after that. Also HE DID NOT KILL DIETRICH or TRY TO KILL HIM which was the biggest misunderstanding. He hesitated and was late to rescue him. This is the biggest conflict in the story. So glad I waited until this was completed before I finished. If you're here for an obsessive male lead though you're in the right place. If you're here for a strong female lead I would find another story because she doesn't really do anything.
Love the concept. I thought he was going to be a little more obsessive and darker but it's interesting that a lot of it just wasn't really his fault. It's funnier than I thought it would be. Hope it updates soon
He went from scary hot to boring chameleon man who changes from panel to panel. The yandereness is really downplayed in the season 2 art.
He's faking being all torn up about it to get the parents permission. He's a manipulative one all the way folks lol.

Im gonna give this a few more chapters but if they would have asked the saintess a few more questions she would have been caught. For example 'do you know who tried to frame our MC?'. Ugh
I posted a long time ago but it's been drowned out over time. Eventually it clicks for her that he is YANDERE and has ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY. her brain dead choices all happened in the novel too. She finally realizes that she can't change him and stops trying to force him to be less...yandere. The whole thing is infuriating tbh so I'm waiting for this to be completed before I read it.
