I know a lot of people are annoyed with everyone in this manhwa (rightly so), but just. bear with it a bit more. The ML is under the ogFL's control, but he slowly breaks out of it and he falls head over heels for the FL and would do anything for her and to protect her. he gets to the point where he just can't live without her. He does have some annoying moments (as stated by someone in the comments), but overall he goes through character development. The rest are all dogshit except Anna and the blonde dude with glasses.

so while I haven't read the novel, I think I've read enough to know all the changes the manhwa has been doing to the novel, specifically in terms of the ML. He's much worse in the manhwa than he is in the novel. After their first night together, his treatment of her becomes so much better. He never sent Sophia to be by her side, he noticed that there was an issue between her and her brother, he would take her side despite his doubts whenever she gets accused, etc. All of this is skipped in the manhwa which makes him completely LACK character development and he just looks like an asshole.
So basically she's suffering with no reprieve. No one on her side. No one for us readers to to cheer for.
Is this really a harem or is there one ML? I don't usually like harems, so I thought I'd ask before I start reading?
