This author usually writes very long stories, Namaikizakari has 130+ chapters, so I mean there is plenty of time for shit to develop and/or go south.

I like how light hearted, cute, and wholesome this story is! It’s moving at a perfect pace, not too fast but not too slow either, it’s perfectly balanced imo. I can’t stand that dude and the red haired bitch tho, they’re just meddling into the fl’s and ml’s lives lmao. But what’s a romance without a sprinkle of drama.
I love how people are getting bored of the series when shit finally calms down LOL, but I feel like it’s just the calm before another storm. Though I can see how it feels prolonged and the need for it to end soon. I mean these two mfs are cray cray, so I have a feeling this is far from over just yet.
I think it’s more about going in circles with disappointment of lack of character development. It’s definitely getting prolonged, and they were supposed to be a healthy couple by now but they still have a lot of toxic aspects

I mean compared to the earlier chapters while they were still teenagers, their characters have been significantly developed, but as of recent chapters it’s true that there is a lack of development. I think I can see how they still have toxic traits tho because those 4 years they spent apart never gave them an opportunity to grow together into a healthy couple, yet they had to mature separately. It’s only expected that some toxic traits will still be there until they resolve them together as adults.
I mean… if we would wanna take their relationship seriously and not as fiction then they are toxic af. As a fiction, still definitely could do better. I was really excited for their development into a healthy couple and I’m quite disappointed so far.
