The only thing i can say is that... the timeline is not clear in the sequel. but here it's blurry, but the gist is (lets be real here it the most iprotant thing) Kuramoto in fact did not cheat on Reiji.
Reiji on the other hand... I hope he find happiness in his story.
Well actually he did. If you follow the sequel. They were in a serious long term relationship before reiji went overseas. It was while he was over seas that this story starts then he gets back for this chapter. They haven’t broken up yet. So yes. They were together and yes he did indeed cheat on him.
What i have learned from Prequel Sequel mangas is that you need to get all the information and event timeline in the correct order, for all the readers to understand the whole picture and narrative of the story.
Exp: A story of an abusive seme and abused uke, you all would hate the seme instantly. But we would be missing a huge chunk of the Why and Where.
A Prequel shows that the seme was being abused and taken advantage of by his boss and thus cause the event into happening.
In the end the Seme knew he was wrong and let the Uke go. They were sweet hearts when they were young but in the end, it was not meant to be.
Note: Points to whoever notice which manga series i'm refering too.(▰˘◡˘▰)
Kaveri was okay being dead and has moved on with his life (Afterlife?). River was his friend and had his (Kaveri's) blessing to love you.
But noooo, "He has never smiled in the three years he returned to earth", gee i wonder why that is!?
Honestly Khaol, your pathetic... both Novel and Comic versions. tough at least the novel version has some redeeming quality. The comic version well, we'll see how deep the rabbit hole is #-.-)
The Thing about our Our MOB MC is that, he has weirdly colored haired (which is a purple hue from what we can discern from the colored page and cover) while the younger brother has normal black hair... Going by BL trope, MC is the lighter spectrum (Blonde/Brown hair) of the BL Pair. Usually this one with introverted of the pair as well.
This mean all the darker spectrum guys (Black/Red Haired) is his ideal pair, this is a major BL trope as stated by MC.
and from the newest chapter (23 i think) it seems that MC luck is running out...
Either way, i love this manga! Weather MC get it on with a girl or boy, i'll still love this manga.
I'll say it again Communication the key in any ralationship.
These last few chapters, Miscommunication at its best... I'll be frank here all character has there growths and mature in there own ways, but they fall back into habit once in while. this actually happens in real life as well. so supporting one character for the another, is null at this point, because all parties involve are at fault.
Nemu is understanding and patient with Maya, but keeping everything inside is bound to be triggered at some point. Nemu was a ticking bomb and Ruka was the fuse. It is better to just tell what problems you have to your lover rather than keeping it inside. well if not, it'll just explode (thankfully in Nemu's case it didn't go like a C4)
Maya is a caring and a good lover, concious for Nemu whenever it is needed. But you can't live on the Saying "Action speak louder than words", in any kind of relationships, if you don't talk there is no point. Really the first time you say to your lover that "I Love You" in under presure and in an argument? no just no.
and of course we have the promblematic trigger...
Ruka is a mystery at this point, why did he do that? What he said and his dialogue imply two different things, One on a business side of thing as in "Please don't get in the way of his career" and one on the love side of things "I'm much more qualified than you to stand by his side and love him", both very much are triggers in their on way but the way Ruka said it, is kind of jaring.
The motivation behind it seems flimsy at best in my oppinion. It like one of those dramas when you see that jealous not-girlfriend talking shit about the heroins in those TV Dramas, cliches as it may seem, its kind of accurate at this point.
I'll say it again Communication the key in any ralationship.
He was Raped, by his cousin no less, and he was okay with it? Dude what!?
I felt after Chapter 1 the author kind of just let this story go in someway, Character and plot went monotonous and nothing to grab the attention of the readers at all.
I'm okay with Cliche stories, really i am. But this story was so underdeveloped, underwhelming and just all around under all avarage boring story.
The Characterization of the 2 Main characters were so bland, i thought i was losing my taste buds because of it.
The Ending "Chef's Kiss"
PS: Yoshiteru is tall, he towers over the other students!! How tall was Zenitsu when he became an adult, damn!?
