I really like this manhwa, despite its disjoined and nonlinear storytelling. tbf it’s probably because it’s being carried so damn hard by its artstyle which is just so visually orgasmic. both of the characters have strong and defined personalities, but i especially stuck around for jinwoo. he’s just fitted to my ideal type to the tee. a sassy, sharp-tongued, yet classy man with an impeccable taste in fashion style. what’s so charming about him is that he’s obviously extremely flawed, but that dynamic works so well with Colton. Their coming together was rough, but it was gradual and slow, which just adds more satisfaction to seeing them lovey dovey later on.

And both characters seem perfectly mature according to their ages. Their dialogues, their actions, how they deal with people, it really sells the bit that these two grown men had a fair share of history and have surpassed hurdles of their own that don’t overlap with each other, but shape the way they’ve become in the present. They don’t dilute the storyline with many dramatic moments or just unhumorous storylines. I appreciate that the story chooses to focus more on the emotional investment between the two MCs. What is so lovely about this manhwa is the interaction between them - it didn’t need any new gimmick to pull quick shock factors that’ll quickly wear off, but instead showcases the example of a healthy relationship between two mature men. Their relationship somehow somewhat reminds me of a lukewarm coffee; it’s calm, quiet, and serene, you drink it with enjoyment without having to taste any strong flavours. Overall, a solid read. I always come back to read this when I want to feel something.
(Additionally, i really like the fact that you can see they’re CLEARLY aged instead of being smooth baby faces at 40, like cmon, r u really THAT scared of wrinkles??
