Why does his mother hate him? Is he not her real son? Or maybe she just prefers other children? Although he clearly said she's doesn't like them too so why? I can understand why siblings may hate him because of the family name and all but why the parents?
Im not so sure either but my guess would be she was in an unwanted marriage and now have unwanted kids who happened to keep dying or dude had a lot of wives and her actual child died maybe (she of course got rid of the mistresses)

I'm not sure either, it might be the case as you said. Honestly they'll seem to hate each other lol why bother bringing children to life if you're gonna hate on them and even not want to give them the family name ( the dad is hostile towards his own children as i noticed)

I don't care how handsome her brothers or other characters are I dislike- no, I actually hate them. Love hate relationship maybe because they're interesting. Still, they're horrible. My heart really ache for the real Penelope. Sure she was a bit bad tempered but I can see why. She was wishing for love. Just like the main character. Really it made me question all the villain I read about so far. For her she was treated so badly and didn't even get a chance to be loved. I hope she makes them suffer for what they did for original lady. On a side note I really like how she remember and think about the original owner of body. It's like they're deeply connected. That's something you don't see in isakai manhwa much they usually just act as if the original owner of body didn't even exist or whatever they don't matter kind of thing. Aside from her bodyguard and maybe the prince since he's jerk from the beginning. The rest makes me angry you know even the magician the moment she said he ruined Penelope party bringing the fl my heart clenched. I rarely get this emotionally involved with character/manhwa but this one just hit me hard I feel so bad gosh!

Look it's just my opinion so I'm just going to say it, okay! Look i think the whole idea of her giving him a second chance is wrong. Sure she might have some feelings for him left but the hate and pain inside her is bigger than it. So, she's is giving him fake hope and just torturing him and although i despise him and really think he deserves to feel like shit ( because he's one ) but still it doesn't feel right. For the fl too i mean she's hurting herself more and clearly this chapter was example of how suffocating this whole situation is for her. So i think it would have been better if she just...well left. Got new life idk anything but being stuck with the same person that caused you this whole pain and even worse : memories of those horrible events. I admire the female lead. Honestly i can say for a fact that she's strong. So damn strong probably more than any female lead i ever read not on outside just but mentally too because she survived even with all of this hell of events that happened with her so yeah i hope to see her more happy.
Man that concubine horran is gorgeous! I said it before but i just have to say it again, she's soooo beautiful! i really like her drawing! I hope she is important part of the story not just side character with little time on story.
