I just started reading it, but I think it's really funny how the MC in these types of stories (indebted) always stays with their gambling fathers even tho they're a grown man. Stand tf up, beat the shit out of him or kill him when you finish paying the debt. Or just run tf away, not like the yakuza's gonna find you in another " state"
Should've listened to his friend, Jiwoon (he shouldn't have married that guy, not to abort, his choice). Manipulative controlling obsessive gaslighting stalking CRAZY ass bitch. I feel like I would've loved this story in 2020, when I started reading bls and didn't understand when the seme was a toxic asshole. The people that like this story either like toxic and obsessive relationship (weird.) or will reread this story in a year or two and tell themselves "wtf was I reading and how did I not notice all the red flags"
It's good and perfectly normal to have discourse about behaviours and tropes in fiction. Ppl might even learn to distinguish these behaviours in real life situations.
We know it's fiction, and we also know it's trying to portray a cute relationship when it in-fact is not. It's so nice that people can recognize that. We're not stopping you from reading it, just having a discussion.
Y'all idk if I should read it because it looks like every stereotypical yaoi, is It whorty?
Personally I enjoyed reading it, though there were times where I wanted to throw myself outta my window. I was very sad about the whole Beta turn into Omega stuff but eh it's part of the plot ig. I would recommend reading it, even though it is a bit stereotypical, it has some unique features as well. IDK THO IF YOU REGRET READING IT AFTERWARDS ITS NOT MY FAULT
I agree that they should communicate, but I don't think telling him about the deal is best. I mean, imagine your bd telling you that he's sacrificing himself for the sake of your child. Knowing the mc he's just gonna blame himself and feel helpless (even if it's not his fault).
