✦ villainess! she’s cunning and manipulative and total obsessed with the ml cesare (i love her though) idk what’s gonna happen with her and adelaide bc right now they’re in some sort of alliance
✦ adelaide (adele) was a poor shoeshiner from gimora (the slums) who was in deep debt. one day she meets cesare bounaparte while cleaning his shoes and overhears his plan to avoid marrying lucrezia della valle and she promptly offers herself up in hopes that she will be able to escape her debts. after seeing she is well educated and beautiful enough, he takes her in and makes her his “sister” so that he can have her marry lucrezia’s brother ezra. though i think he’s slowly falling for her since she’s so interesting , hard to resist a girl that threatens to kills you with sharp scissors against your throat when you try to fuck with her.

✦ unfortunately as you can tell by the name, you can tell what kind of ml he is the cesare curse continues but he is no where close to being on the same level as the others, but he’s still a red flag

✦ that chairwoman needs to fuck off icl, she’s already causing major problems and i assume as the plot progresses she’s only gonna get worse
✦ adelaide is a total girlboss she don’t play wiegtet, but i like that didn’t make her completely numb, that she still has emotion, but she knows how to play the game and can turn it off and still play the perfect little sister
✦ guys i swear this is one of the best manhwa i have ever read. the plot, the art, the dynamics, the characters, EVERYTHING. I THINK I HIT THE JACKPOT ON HISTORICAL MANHWA’S
✦ cesare gets negative points for what he did to adelaide at the club, it really made me very uncomfortable, it was so over the line and wrong i saw a comment say adelaide litterally got to pick her poison and she’s so right
✦ i can’t wait to see how the plot progresses now that ezra has been officially introduced in the manhwa, it’s gonna get so much more dramatic!!

✦ the prophecy of the last saint was said that anyone born with pink hair after i die will become saint. sia is this saintess. taken from her family at the age of 5, she was raised to be the empress of the empire before the church could get their hands on her. but later, the imperial family was told that the prophecy had changed and that sis was no longer the saintess. the crown prince immediately broke up with her and replaced her with the new saintess. because the new sainted and the crown prince treated her like shit, she decided they would have to pay a price for it (revenge).
✦ the fucking crown prince and the emperor are so annoying like what the fuck. abusive, entitled, temperamental, arrogant, conceited, possessive and fucking imbecilic. (i don’t like the other prince either tbh, im way of him and his intentions)

✦ i love that the fezzentera family is so ride or die for eachother. cold with everyone else but warm and loving with their members. (i hope nothing bad happens to the mum or my heart will sorta break, i really like her)
✦ i really like asriel (the pope) and sia together. i wish he hadn’t lied to her but i love seeing them take on the imperial family together. i’m glad they were able to be honest with one and other (the pope atleast) but i feel like their feelings are both known to eachother, not too much with sia though

✦ 6.7/10 this manhwa is good, enjoyable and not a bad read but for some reason i can’t give it a higher rating than this. i don’t hate anything about it but idk, i feel like it may be lacking in some areas but i can’t put my finger on it. despite this i was still engaged while reading, not bored or anything (chap. 84)

✦ strong and caring ml and fl (powerful together and alone)
✦ fiona gets placed into the world of the novel she wrote as the villainess of the story that dies tragically. In this version, fiona tries to keep the novel more or less the same but with her alive. this is near impossible though because her death is the end of the story and is necessary for the world to be at peace without darkness. she befriends siegren out of a desire to protect and guilt. She also gets close with other characters from the story and becomes a very noble with great power that everyone looks up to
✦ i love abel so much, he’s a great character, i love his personality and i love how he is with fiona. i’m glad they have such a great relationship

✦ romance progresses at a good pace (the ml is a whipped puppy (in the best way))
✦ I love seeing fiona get strong and confident, not that she wasn’t from the beginning, but i love the panels of her being so powerful
✦ it has an amnesia trope </3 but it doesn’t seems too bad, she’s regaining a lot of her memories in only like 2 chapters so i don’t think it’ll be dragged out
✦ tbh i feel bad for old fiona, she suffered so much and is still suffering now as darkness (she better give fiona her memories back soon though)

✦ 9.6/10 i really love the plot and art of this manhwa, (and the chibi, it makes me laugh so much) it’s not what i thought it’d be but im glad it turned out the way it did. can’t wait to see how everything gets wrapped up! (chap. 106)

✦ strong ml and strong fl (both strong for eachother too, both have sad and traumatic histories, but they keep going, they are pillars for each other, but are also powerful alone)
✦ Rosantine gets reincarnated into a new world from a baby (not your typical reincartion stuff about being in someone else’s body, this is her). she has a loving family but she can see ghosts, and died bc of it in her past life. as rosantome her little sister almost becomes a spirit so she makes a deal with one of the ghosts ronan, and he helps her save her. he also sends rosantine basically on a mission to save the crown princes life, or at least go to the palace so they the prince can grant immunity for her family. basically, they solve mysteries about who is trying to kill the crown prince, they do this, but overtime rosantome falls for her and chartise falls for her two (he’s loved her since childhood) basically everything goes well until it doesn’t. they are together but then she dies because they are both cursed. she is reawakened bc she sacrificed herself. but she leaves the palace afterwards for chartise because she can’t say that she has broken the curse. she’s now on a mission (we dk what yet though)
✦ i love them both, everything about them, i love how strong they are individually and for eachother, and now that the curse is broken, we get to see them do that for each other some more but with light divine constraints.

✦ the first crown prince eswar is an inigma, idk if he’s bad or good but that was a very surprising side he showed, he’s usually more aloof and playful. still has a royal presence, but yk what i mean, strong yet playful.

✦ rn there’s one ml (raphael) that’s stoic, detached and hates others people touch, probably from trauma, but basically a puppy dog with the fl. i think the duke heinrich might be one too
✦ cayena was killed irl by an envious person and was reincarnated into the villainess of the novel who dies a tragic death. she retains all of cayena’s memories and now uses her foresight to try and escape with her life, by making her brother a kinder ruler (though it seems he’s caught on)
✦ i am praying that there is no sister complex incoming, bc ive been slightly skeptical a few times (nothings happened just vibes imo)
✦ that dude that killed cayena in her past life came back and really gave me the creeps, i pray that he dies somehow

✦ that crazy fourth princess dodo lea is one fucked up bitch. her insanity kinda scares me tbh like did she really just try to fucking drug and rape the duke? i hope she dies.
✦ so far there’s no romance but tbh im fine with it, the plot is very interesting and i like the dynamics of all the characters, plus i love a fucking girl boss fl. i loved seeing her get all cold to protect celphius and to avenge her father (hope her old family chokes with dudu)

✦ 8.2/10 (was 7.4) i’m really liking this manhwa tbh, it’s not what i expected but im enjoying it all the same! more than i thought i would tbh (chap 113 (ended on a fucking cliffhanger , let it marinate for a bit))

✦ basically dead inside ml who i think has been traumatised and the same for the fl, very similar backstories, used and thrown away (very strong and smart fl though, love the way she uses her knowledge from her past life)
✦ Larcy gets unknowingly used by her family in her first life and meets the emperor while rotting in jail but refuses his hand. In the next life, marcy seeks out his hand and marries him, with her status of empress she makes moves to take down her family and secure her position as empress to the other concubines and servants. shes a total bad bitch and the best kind of villainess!
✦ I’m really loving the ml though, ever time larcy does some fucked up shit he smiles and falls deeper in love with her

✦ the way larcy sticks up for her servant is so sweet, i love the way they get along and the bond they have. i hope nothing ever ruins it
✦ I wish they would stop cutting scenes and just jumping to the next part, it makes it very hard to follow. i really want to see the scenes played out and not just told about them.

✦ 8.8/10 i’m really liking this manhwa, it does most things perfectly and it’s super interesting, i keep dropping the ipad and being ABSOLUTELY shocked, ugh i love her (chap. 40)

✦ eris is transported into this world of a book she read that she is doomed to die in. she is desperate to go back to her real body but can’t die by herself. so she is waiting for someone else to kill her
✦ the ml is trash like remarried empress, he brings in a mistress and treats the old owner of the body extremely harshly. however in this one, the mistress is genuinely kind and doesn’t want to be by the crown princes side (he’s basically forcing her to date him)

✦ this manwha doesn’t really get me excited, i heard that it’s great but for right now, im not really a fan
