Hey I was thinking about writing a fanfic about a manga from here but how can i get permission i mean it would be stealing if dont right? What should i do? Also i will say that it's fanfic version of that manga. Should i talk to mangaka and how can i talk to her?
Don't worry, you don't need permission! The whole reason why fanfic exists is because it's a nonprofit organization organization that doesn't make money off other people's work. I wrote several fanfics from manga, one of which is the first of its kind since it's one of those elusive manga nobody really knows and didn't have to ask permission.
As long as you're not making money say for example, making merchandise of it, selling it online, or calling it your own, then you should be fine. Sometimes, fanfic writers will put up some kind of disclaimer in the beginning of their stories saying something like "I do not own any of the characters, or manga since they're not my own blah blah blah" something like that. I think at this point the best thing to do is to stop the access to the website since the social media mess is not getting any better and people are not even taking any blame on themselves? They are angry that they can't read and I'm not even sad for them. As an old reader I think we can wait a while or else we will not have anything to read. Seriously the situation is not even making sense it's just so stupid.
what made it worse is , the site went down and people posted it on twitter with dumb ass meme and comments with "me coming after the owner " then tags and these get retweet to more brainless follower.
Ikr it was so stupid and I saw someone mentioning it in questions so I checked but wish I didn’t. There is not one single sane one in them to explain why this is happening. They all ‘go and beat the person who banned them’ but no one is thinking why are we banned. I’m fine that they are actually lol I was banned too for a few hours but I didn’t go and made a ruckus? i didnt even know the site went down since i was probably asleep when it all went down, and scrolled tru the comment section, glad i haven't been banned tho. Yeah, there's definitely a lack of brain cell in these people or they're really young.
Its just depressing at this point,if you type mangago on twitter and heck on latest its still ongoing, people are still posting the names, its never ending.
Don't bother, its a waste of time, i used to go on twitter and ask people to pm instead of outright naming the site, but they outright attacked me. Whatevr happens gonna happen now.

Nowhere probably they will start something like let’s go and ruin this site kinda hashtag so I’m not gonna bother myself with anything. I’ll just read fanfics in watty or in some websites I found. Honestly it got me frustrated too much so cooling down in somewhere those idiots are not in is the best thing to do
