Its hard for me to read some stories where the character is overweight or WAS overweight, They make her so dumpy looking, like she was fat. But she really wasn't!! She was so cute and chubby. She dressed like an old lady but still cute
I KNOW I KNOW its supposed to be funny and lighthearted and I'm over thinking it, but it makes me feel like the moral of the story is Lose weight and everything else will come also. I love her on the cover with glasses and curly hair she so cute ! Is there something wrong with curly hair?
IDK maybe I've been reading too many stories with strong female characters who love themselves and fight like a BOSS
I thought the same before too, but now I like how the story is progressing. The change in her appearance provided her with more opportunities (because people started treating her differently) but she already had all the qualities that made her boss fall in love with her (like her passion and her efficiency at work). She wasn't ugly or anything before, but since everyone treated her as such, she had no confidence. I hope she realizes soon that the real purpose of that magic drink wasn't to make her lose weight but to give her a glimpse of what her life could be if she starts loving herself (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I thought that rape was "PAST life" stuff with his brother/relative wth?? But now it doesn't seem so... I feel like I'm missing something ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭..... IDK maybe I spent too much time looking at the raws and Have no idea what's going on
unfortunately, the brother has raped him in both lives
Yes and in this life, he didn't put up any fight and just told the brother to do it and get over with it!
Thanks!! Now I'm so sad
That's incorrect, he put up a fight both in the past & in the current lifetimes. Both times ended up with him breaking his arm during the resistance. It was specifically said so in the brother's internal monologue in ch 36, as he was reflecting upon what he was doing. And the uke never told the brother to just rape him. He said something to the effect of: "Since you've satisfied your lust, get out, now". He was defiant to the end of the rape, he was never this pathetic guy who just gave up & accepted it as his fate. Well, I guess this is to be expected, this happens when you re-translate something not from the original language. So many nuances lost, & a fair bit of mistranslations here & there.
Oh right! I've been wrong. He did put up a fight...poor guy
And I've never found him pathetic; he has been fighting bravely both in this life and the past one.
Thank you for setting this straight
