This resulted from their "obligations" and because of that they failed to show their affection towards each other.
That being said, Yuujin wants to have some lovey dovey time with Ei, without being binded from their past insecurities and past life decision failures.
That is also why Ei said "I won't apologize, so don't apologize".
Because without those decisions, they wouldn't end up like this in the present.
Also they have been selfless throughout their life, following their tradition and stuff, carrying the burden of their clan, dealing with a lot of people.
So it's like their saying "Let's be selfish for once and get married"

Jin has prioritized everyone and everything else over Ei; and his own happiness his family legacy and then Rio, while Ei has pretty much dedicated himself to Jin all his life By telling him he just needs Ei at their wedding, Jin is prioritizing Ei and their relationship for the first time ever. It's a gesture of commitment.

Tbh I think they really captured the abandonment crazed idea. The story is sick but I think it’s not overly romanticized, like everyone reacts like it’s not normal except for the siblings. It’s almost like a mash up of trauma bond, abandonment issues, mommy/daddy issues, and obsession. It’s honestly such a nasty combination and hard to swallow but I appreciate the effort to make this not just an, “Oh they get together like nothing happened” after Hayato had basically raped Yuki. It was a bit unrealistic but it’s only 6 chapters so I give it a pass. If this were more realistic it definitely would be worse than this little crumb but I appreciate the effort put into that crumb.
