Spy x family is full of anti war sentiments and to drive home how awful war is you gotta be willing to show all the nitty gritty details. I actually like how spy x family keeps it real.

Spy x Family is such a good comfort manga however it's literally beauty is hidden behind the ominous present and hurtful past that it carries. It's about a "found family", sure but it's also about 2 countries in a fragile post-war state.
