do you guys have any problem with reading mature content on tappytoon app? I can see it on my laptop, but it doesn't even show up when I search for it on the app, nor is it on my subscription list. Do I have to change the setting or something, I can't find anything
Yep, you have to change the setting. There's a little slider button at the top right of the screen, on the same drop down menu where you sign-in. Just push it over to "Mature ON" and voila~
I have 'mature ON' on my account and i see the Little slider button, but not on the app? You log in on the side panel to the left on the app
Mature series aren't available on the app yet you can only read them on the website.

why is it that a lot of times when they kiss in a manga someone thinks it's because the other person lived abroad. Is there a country where people just kiss everyone on the lips? i've met a lot of people from different countries but never met someone who would just kiss you out of the blue (≧∀≦)
On the lips no, but on the cheeks is a custom. For example, I am from Romania and it is a custom to kiss on the cheeks when you meet someone. The same with the Italians and I guess with Spanish.
I think it’s just how some Japanese/Chinese mangakas view western culture. But man, I’m from Brazil, a kinda of open country and we don’t kiss people out of nowhere. Only on the cheeks when we are greeting someone
Does anyone else have trouble following chinese mangas (or manhuas whatever)? They often seem confusing to me. Sometimes they are not linear, the dialogs are hard to follow and the characters seem flat. I dont know if its just the style they like in China or if its the problem with translations or something. Maybe its because they have to work around the censorship? Does anyone has similar feelings?
Certainly much could be because of the translations. But then again I've read quite a few chinese manhuas in their original text and it's true that their dialogues or actually even their entire plot is really flat and one dimensional!
I don't think censorship pose a big issue in this as there are definitely really good ones out there.
Tbh in general I try to stay with mangas lol, I agree a lot of Chinese manhuas are pretty subpar. Chinese BL light novels are my jam tho, most of my fav LNs are Chinese. Idk why the difference in quality lmao
yeah i think that's just their style. most of the chinese mangas i read seem more like slice of life since nothing is taken seriously. it's better to stick to the japanese mangas if you want heavier plots and dialogues that can make you question life.
