Raruk is trying to protect his world from being completely destroyed since its on the verge of destruction(literaly only 1/3 of their planet left), so he thought that by killing the people who live in this world(mainly speaking, the heroes of this world) thats colliding with theirs then his people could move to that planet and be saved.

why can't his people just move right on over? immigrate from their dying world into this one that's relatively ok

Honestly the rape scene was not needed. The author has left me lost. It was implied in the first chapter that Yuuma was slutty. At one point I assumed he participated in violent gangbang. And I sealed this conclusion when Kotarou saw the kiss mark on his chest. Yuuma even thought Kotarou wanted to lock him away because of his slutty past. Matter of fact Yuuma told Kotarou that he was good at giving blow jobs. So why all of sudden does Yuuma not want Kotarou to know WHEN HE ALREADY KNOWS YOUR PAST BECAUSE HE WAS ALWAYS THERE. All you had to do is tell Kotarou that you gave him a couple of blow jobs and make him understand that Sousuke is in the past and will stay in the past. That was a needless trope used to get Yuuma to see Sousuke because we already knew Yuuma was kinda slutty.
If you just had to have Yuuma sleep with Sousuke it would have best to make him do it willingly because he was just assuming that him and Kotarou were nothing more than sex friends. So in a fit of defiance he sleeps with Sousuke. I believe that would have been a better trope than the gang rape.
If he was just going drag his ass he should have just left the ball alone. （￣へ￣）
