Who the the hell listen to a toddler plans to get his parent and lover back together. I would literally f*ck everybody up cause you are hiding my child from me. Parents always have the right to know where their child is and if they are safe. I would be to upset to even discuss a relationship. My child would definitely not be attending that nursery again.
Yeah I was a bit taken aback by the teacher's choice. I know she meant well but ... :/
But if we were in real life just imagine if the other person was abusive (and yeah sometimes not kids nor anyone else can realize it, as abusers can be the most charming and charismatic person you've ever met) she would have pushed the victim right back into the trap.
She shouldn't mingle into other people personal life because a kid throw a tantrum.
Alex had no right to treat DG like that. It was rude and hurtful. However, DG F*CKING SIGNED UP FOR THIS. You knew you liked Alex from the beginning and you knew if you "fell in love" with Alex he was going to cut you off. Don't act surprised that Alex was cold because he was cold from the very beginning. ( I just hate when people hop into relationships thinking that they can change or fix someone and then get upset when they see that the person doesn't change for them.) When Alex gave you the chance to to cut it off cleanly, you should have. Then you could have left with your dignity intact.
Just because someone "signed up" for something, doesn't excuse Jiwom nor does it exhaust someone from being a victim. Being "cold" was the least of Jiwon's behavior. And people can see that Jiwon only brought it up to blame DG for not ending when he himself could have ended. Also, he's actions didn't match his words. It's a two way street. It's not that simple. That's what people don't get. It's never that easy especially when someone has feelings.
I never once took the the heat off of Jiwon. He acted like a major *sshole during the whole ordeal. Just want everyone to stop blaming only Alex for toxicity of this relationship. Because like you said it work both ways. Jiwon could've just been the biggest *ss in the whole world and lead DG on ( like from the very beginning). Instead he told DG where his priority lies. He just wanted sex to save his show. Therefore he allowed DG to decide for himself if he wanted to be a WILLING victim or not. ( Do you know how many times I wished someone could have been that honest with me) I think Jiwon for the most part kept his agreement with DG. (DG broke his from the very beginning) When DG got too close to Jiwon, which reminded of the person who hurt him in the past, he reminded DG and gave him a way out. Is it his fault that he chose not to exit. Is it sad? yes. But he is part of the blame.
I would like to thank you for responding because debating is fun.
*Side note this was foreshadowed in the beginning of the comic.
Yes you did. You excused his behavior by staing that DG signed up for it and simply said he was rude and cold. No one is only blaming Jiwon, it's both of their fault. There is no such thing as a willing victim. Ilike Kyra stated, it's not that simple to say, oh he should just leave. There are plenty of people taking Jiwon's side on this because of the mentality that DG accepted his behavior and the agreement. It's almost the same as people taking an abusers side because the vitcim stays with the person. I don't agree with you, sorry.
I wanted DG's point of view
