I don’t understand why everyone’s so mad about this and calling Chika a pedo. He misunderstood his secondary gender until later and tried his best to hold back cuz he knows it’s wrong to feel aroused by a shota.
Sure he kissed Haruka but he didn’t go any further and held back. He waited until Haruka became legal to do more than that, without getting involved with other Alphas even though he wasn’t sure if they’ll feel the same after all those years. There are subtle clues about his rightful personality in the chapters.
And this is just a fictional work.. no need to get agitated about the author pushing this trope. It’s just your own fault if you get influenced by this and connect this to reality when this is just a fictional work you purposely read through.
Thank you! The purposeful reading thing especially. I wasn’t a fan of this work, it personally squicked me out, so I stopped reading. For some reason people can’t seem to grasp that they have the agency to stop reading something in fiction, and so instead advocate against its existence entirely. Like, I’m not going to shame other people for enjoying a fictional trope and not real. What I am going to judge people for is the way they read the description for a story that had this very common trope, read the entire thing, and then have the audacity to bitch about it in the comments. At this point I’m just convinced they actually enjoyed the story but have too many hangups to admit it to themselves. Like why else would you read through an entire story? We seriously need to bring back the “don’t like don’t read” mindset rather than “I demand that this shouldnt exist because it offends me personally” mindset （￣へ￣）
Lol, I agree. Besides Chika being turned on by Haruka is obviously caused by Haruka being his fated partner. He cannot control those urges. And also I don't think Chika is a pedophile since Haruka is literally someone he is fated to be with. Besides he didn't even act upon those urges when Haruka was still a child because he knew it is wrong which speaks about his morality although he kissed him. But anyways, I think people should not view the story in our world's perspectives. It's easy to say something when you're not the one experiencing. Like imagine that you are in Chika's shoes, you found out that your fated partner is a child and you began to have those sexual urges that you cannot help but have. Of course, you want to be with your fated partner but he is still a child. So you are controlling those urges but at the same time you want to spend time with him so you are having a dilemma. I'm putting myself in Chika's shoes and I'll say it's difficult.
