Agreed! Plus, it's an arranged marriage, and they haven't really known each other for very long... I'd be suspicious, and that's coming from someone who also has trust issues and takes a while to get comfortable with someone.
she's scared for her lifel. If i were her, I'd have sirens going off in my head. If she thinks he might be acting, she'd be even more scared--because he's GOOD at it.
