I absolutely love male leads who do stuff just to get praised by the female leads and try to show their sincerity by paying attention to their partner's actions and words, like it's so adorable and wholesome and so very healing.
So. Many. Questions. She just said that the emperor married her mother who was pregnant with her, right? That means the king knows she's not his real child, right? But didn't she state earlier in the story that the emperor didn't know she wasn't his real child? Then, this man, the king who supposedly loved her mother fell in love with another woman (or not, maybe it was a one night stand kinda thing) and had another child? Btw, what happened to her mother, do we already know? And then ofcourse there's this new red-hair.
We completely saw this coming, didn't we. I mean, like how would people not notice, she's completely different in character from the original princess. I think probably everyone in her harem knows, not too sure about Ettsen though, I have serious doubts about his mental capabilities at this point.
I doubt everyone knows. It makes sense for Robia and Nadricka to know since they almost always have been with her or around her ever since she transmigrated into that body, but the others haven’t been around enough. They definitely need more screen/panel time.
Not everyone everyone, I meant everyone in her harem and by that I was pointing out Nadricka, Robia and Eclot because I remember in one of her chapters, Eclot was really surprised by her action, can't recall exactly what it was at this moment though. Even if the people around her don't suspect she was someone else who had transmigrated into the princess' body, they probably do suspect something is wrong because her character just did a 180. She didn't just gradually change.
The entire situation is just so frustrating and very very bad for my weak weak heart. But a part of me is glad that Athy's holding up somewhat and even if it's a mask, she's keeping everything going.

I did read the novel as well as the spoilers somewhere, some time ago and I feel like I kinda liked it but one thing that saddens is the amount of kindness and respect she has always shown the duke and yet that mofo doesn't even have the basic decency to show her the respect she deserves. She really doesn't deserve all the hate they were throwing at her, she didn't come willingly. He literally married her for money so I really don't know why he acting so haughty for. Despite how they treat her, she is like a queen, her temperament is above them all.

Sorry for ranting below u but I wanted to add my comment here bc ur comment goes with my thoughts
i stopped reading the novel in the early chapters bc I remember getting so upset at how she was mistreated. From what I remember the manga kind of glosses over how she was disgraced in society. But in the novel after hearing how she was harassed/assaulted, men would show up ask to be engaged, she would say no, then they would get mad, harass her and spread rumours about her to sully her name.
And she is so patient and kind but there are so many people who mistreat her. I like the carriage kid bc he became kind early on but everyone else vilifies her WAYYYYY too much. If they had more than half a brain cell they could ask anyone who worked for her and those people would have hundreds of good things to say. And that would hold A LOT more truth then people who met her once for very little time.
EXACTLYYY!!! She's so nice and patient despite what happened, I'd honestly be so fed up with this family and drop them. The condescending and obnoxious characters are most especially annoying. She'll definitely become a great person. Hopefully rather than keeping her skills hidden she becomes more recognized, like I'm so tired of this entire duke residence looking down on her. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I feel like she's about to slide back right where she worked so hard to come out of (off?). A duchess she may be but she's a human foremost and it is human to make mistakes. Give the lady a break and maybe she might find the rope to climb back off the edge ya'll seem to be pushing her over.
