I just found out yesterday they did a live action movie adaption!! I was SO excited, I guess it was just recently published so that's why I didn't hear about it until now?
ANYWAYS. Such a masterpiece. The kissing scenes are a little bit awkward but overall it's so cute!!

well.. this live action movie is so slow that I couldn't see it without skipping some parts... ù_ù sorry but I prefer the manga...
There were a lot of awkward pauses, but they tried to keep it as close to the manga as possible. Maybe it's because I saw the movie first; it made all my doubts about trying this fly out the window. I loved the movie as well, a recommendation!

Yea, me too. I don't understand why they say it's too slow. I like the camera shots too, esp Shino and Seyrou scene on Sunday when they were about to break up.

I also find him very aggravating! However I understand why he didn't stop him from breaking up..I mean once someone wants to break up with you there is really nothing you can do to stop them, no matter how much you love them....
Yeah, I guess when you put it that way, it makes sense.... The way he just dealt with it seemed so nonchalant to me, it really pissed me off ._____.
I thought the same....yet if I were to take his side, I'd say that he isn't really expressive. So even if he might not be doing anything apart from being with Iori, he never says anything about it. Cuz it didn't actually seem as he was messing around outside of his relationship with Iori. But he was a jerk to say that their relationship was nothing but convenience (in the beginning) and not be honest with himself. In the end, Iori says to break up and it's not like he can do anything about it. As redemption, I guess you can also say that he can tell that Iori is happy with Mukai, so stopping him would make things more complicated. I mean, who doesn't want to see the person you like happy, even if you are not the one beside them. I would also say the manga was a bit rushed, which made Shousuke even more of a jerk, since it just made him pass by the break up like nothing happened.

Yeah it was a horrible relationship. He would only see me when it was convenient for him and claimed that he liked me when I was ready to move on. That's why I was really happy to see Iori end up with a guy who treated him well and actually cared about him. This mangaka did a great job of promoting healthy relationships :)
I just took it at face value. A jerk who would say anything to keep his easy lay around. The story is way too short to make it more complex than that.

Okay, Volume 1 was crap, Volume 2 was disappointing, but this.... This. I really like this one. Less of Kaji being an asshole and more... emotional Kaji. Accepting Kaji. That's just what I like.
Still, haven't heard them confess their feelings properly... I don't know if it's really incomplete since chapter 5 somehow seemed like an ending, but I hope it's not so that the author can make that happen!! ( ﾉ^ω^)ﾉﾟ

The smex was great and all, but I really didn't feel the love here.... and Kaji-sensei came off really rapey... Says that Kobaya treats his words as shit but then doesn't treat Kobaya's feelings so well either.
Really annoyed me till the end.
Still, I'm going to give the sequels a try. I really did see the potential in this after all.. Such a shame. Hope the mangaka did something better with the sequels.
