Why are people thinking it’s not mr. Fluffyhead? It IS him, that’s why he has the helmet, isn’t speaking and took away his cigarette and did the “troat slice” move. That’s him trying to make Fuckchill to stop smoking so that Huijae doesn’t have to be his cigarette bitch anymore

Something isn’t right and y’all are jumping to conclusions. The man that Guwon killed in the prologue was a robber that came into Jinwoo’s apartment for robbery and was about to kill Jinwoo when he saw he was laying still alive on the floor. The robber had no hair and was wearing different clothes, he had a tank top on. The man that Jinwoo found in the last chapter has hair and different clothes, he’s wearing a long sleeved top. I think that since Jinwoo has blocked out what really happened he’s confusing the two incidents. He’s insisting that Guwon killed his father when he didn’t, actually I think Jinwoo himself killed him. Guwon on the other hand is talking about the robber that he killed.

I don’t get how people saying the person that Guwon killed in the prologue is the father when it’s clearly not, they don’t even look the same. Also, Guwon killed the robber, his dead body laying there and then took Jinwoo with him. Now that body is suddenly gone and replaced with his father? No. The dead body that’s laying there is still the robber’s body but Jinwoo is so traumatized, dissociated, guilted and wants to believe that Guwon is the bad guy that he thinks it’s his father when it’s not.

    Sou’ June 29, 2025 12:41 am

Thank you. Finally someone who’s actually paying attention instead of blindly trusting Jinwoo’s perspective like it’s 100% reliable. Your observation about the robber vs the father is dead-on — different clothes, different hair, different context. It’s not the same person.

Jinwoo is clearly traumatized and dissociating hard. He’s misremembering — maybe even deliberately repressing the real memory. And honestly? Your take that he might’ve killed his own father makes more psychological sense than anything else we’ve seen. The guilt, the silence, the projection onto Guwon — it all tracks.

And the saddest part? Guwon and Jinwoo aren’t even having the same conversation. Guwon’s talking about the robber. Jinwoo’s seeing a whole other nightmare. It’s tragic, actually.

    Milla June 29, 2025 6:34 am

I went back to the Prologue and chapter 1 aaaand what are you talking about They guy has hair and a long armed shirt, although it's somehow white in the prologue and darker in chap 1.
Like I agree that Guwon probably didn't kill his dad. Jinwoos memories are messed up and I think he might be confusing some events from his past and this is just to make the story interesting. But I can definitely imagine it being revealed, that Guwon didn't kill his dad. As of now tho it could very well be the case

    PixieFairyDust June 29, 2025 3:02 pm

I wish we could include picture so we could break this down correctly but let’s walk through it in text instead.

In the prologue, in the first few panels when we see the robber, he has a completely smooth head like he’s bald. Then it turns into a light buzzcut and then in chapter one we can’t see if he has hair or not but in the panel where Guwon is bent down and says “Just give me a minute”, there’s a single lock of brown hair. In the prologue, the robber is first wearing a tank top, when Guwon approaches him from behind he’s suddenly wearing a light/white/cream colored long sleeved top and then in chapter 1 he’s wearing a green long sleeved top.

There are too many inconsistencies here. It’s either deliberate or sloppy detail work by the author.

In the first few chapters there were several inconsistencies with Guwon’s rings, there were several panels in both chapter one and another chapter, where his rings were not on his hands but they were floating in the air. At first I thought this was a sign of him being divine of some sorts, and not a drawing error because I didn’t expect 945 to do sloppy mistakes in her SECOND manhwa (I would’ve expected it from her first) so I thought it was intentional and part of the lore. But then 945 confirmed it on her Twitter that all those panels were drawing errors!

So the inconsistencies with the robber’s hair and top are either yet again, drawing errors or these ones are part of the lore.

    I honestly don’t know anymore.

But since she messed up with the rings over several panels and chapters, I’m gonna conclude that it’s the same with the robber’s hair and clothes as well.

    Milla June 29, 2025 7:07 pm

Wow that must've been a lot of work putting all this into writing!
I can definitely see her making mistakes here and there and being inconsistent, this was also an "issue" in Dangerous Convenience Store. I didn't even notice the thing with his rings, that's interesting though.

Personally, I wouldn't read to much in to the details though as the author doesn't really seem to be huge on details either with all these small "mistakes" and inconsistencies, as your many examples also showed. Her workflow and overall style always seemed a bit messy to me, in a charming way. But personally this makes me more excited for the story because there are different ways things can turn out. So I guess we'll wait and see (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

If I could like your reply I would, but sadly that isn't an option on this site

Ever since the first time Jinwoo attacked Guwon with a knife in his sleep, I guessed that he, Jinwoo, was the one that killed his own father. That attack and lunge was instinctive and forceful. Every time he tries to remember, we see flashbacks of his father attacking Jinwoo and he can’t remember what happened so something very traumatic must’ve happened, before the attack itself that is. Maybe the father was turning into an undead/zombie/maggot, but he wasn’t “turning like he was supposed too”, meaning: all the maggots are just wandering aimlessly and are docile but maybe his father was/became an aggressive kind? Or maybe he was high and on drugs when he attacked Jinwoo? Or maybe he wasn’t an actual good man at all and he abused Jinwoo in various/multiple ways? And that’s why his memories have gaps! The attack, along with the state of their world, was the final straw that locked his mind once and for all.

In chapter 1 we, and Guwon, saw a picture of Jinwoo and his parents. His mom is in a wheelchair. What if the mom’s physical limitations were the dad’s doing? When we see the picture, both of the parents faces have cracks in it. It could be symbolic, that everything is not picture perfect or as it seems.

And Jinwoo is quite strong and intelligent. What if he was a undead/zombie/maggot hunter and that’s why he’s been able to overpower Guwon, in his sleep, twice!?

There are so many differences directions this story could take. But I really don’t believe that Guwon killed his father but Jinwoo is projecting it onto him very strongly because he’s the one that did it.

That’s true, since she’s made many drawing errors maybe not every single little detail means something but I’d like to think that there are intentional details, but there are some drawing errors as well and she was too stressed to separate them/double check.

If the guy from the prologue indeed was a complete stranger that came to rob/kill him and it’s the same guy that’s laying on the floor in the recent chapter, then it means that Jinwoo’s state or mind is in a much more deteriorated place we’d know. It’s the robber but he sees the man as his father and seriously believes it’s him. That’s incredibly tragic and suspenseful! What is real and what isn’t?

Yeah honestly I’m with you on most of that. The knife scene from early on always felt too intense to be just fear — like it came from muscle memory or something deeper. That kind of force doesn’t come out of nowhere. And yeah, the fact that Jinwoo never remembers clearly, only sees fragments of being attacked, makes it way more likely that something went down before the robbery even happened. Something way uglier.

I’ve thought about the father being abusive too. The wheelchair thing with the mom, plus the cracks in the photo — that doesn’t feel random. Like you said, it’s symbolic as hell. The whole “happy family” image is literally broken.

The theory about him being some kind of hunter is interesting. I don’t know if I fully buy it yet, but it would explain how he managed to overpower Guwon not just once, but twice, while half asleep. That’s not normal unless he’s trained or has something in him he’s trying hard to forget.

What I really agree with is the part where Guwon and Jinwoo aren’t even in the same scene mentally. Guwon’s talking about saving a kid from a robber. Jinwoo’s reliving some other nightmare entirely. And he’s so deep in it that he made Guwon the villain in a story Guwon doesn’t even realize he’s in.

This story’s gonna hurt when it finally unpacks all that.

Oof, the last part of what you said! Guwon is being so cute following him all this way like a puppy, with the matching rings, blushing, thinking he did a good job with his surprise (he’s always been so eager and keen to implement everything Jinwoo teaches him immediately into practice) while Jinwoo is so adamant with convincing himself that Guwon is the bad guy and doesn’t want to face the real truth. He’s repressing, projecting, fabricating and merging his memories and what actually happened. Ugh, my head and my heart. I’m gonna die on this hill call defending Guwon, I just hope he proves me right, please God

Aight, I got it now, I’m sticking with my original theory and adding those side by side comparison pictures with the explanation that Jinwoo is trying to fill in the gaps of his memory loss with what he’s been fed (that Guwon is evil courtesy of the doc & others) and what he desperately wants to believe (that Guwon is the culprit and not himself or anyone else for that matter), so it’s a fabrication and merging of what really happened vs what he wants to believe. I’m gonna die on this hill defending Guwon so this better not come back to bite me in the ass and he better prove me right!

PixieFairyDust June 27, 2025 1:10 pm

I know it’s fiction but my mind still can’t help but think of the real logistics of it. They fcked in the car while Hatchet and/or Bowlcut were standing on watch outside until their boss has finished his “conversation” with Jailbait. The car is rocking like crazy. The boss tells them to come. Jailbait has sullied his clothes, they’re both flushed and the inside of the car smells like sex. On their way back to the hotel they buy Jailbait a new set of clothes. Unless they’re incredibly thick and stupid, and I don’t think they are, THEY KNOW what’s going on xD

Excuse me, Yujin has/had a nipple piercing?! Why didn’t we ever get to see or know that from the story?! Also, why did Yujin suddenly call Aaron, Hunter? He was about to say Aa- but then said Hunter instead

PixieFairyDust June 20, 2025 7:13 pm

OMG Y’ALL!

I just checked chapter 141 and it’s gonna get really exciting from there, there will only be around two chapters of slight angst but everything will turn out well for all of them and everyone will get their happy ending! Arthur proposes long before that in his cop uniform, their rings are pretty, Jaikar is supportive, mr. Hoffman gets released and Cain gets shot.

It will probably take around one year until we get to finally see that tho!

Every time anyone writes that they think his dick is ugly, too big and that they get scared of it, I know immediately that they haven’t read Dear Door, because their dicks are waaaayyy bigger and obscene than Guwon’s. If you haven’t read Dear Door, the uncensored version, what are you waiting for?! Read it ASAP! This manhwa gave me DD vibes from the prologue.

I’ve messaged Jujucat and asked him to put up several placeholders (at least 5-10) but I haven’t gotten a response. It’s really annoying how the mgg bot keeps uploading unofficial translations and ruining the order of the official translations. Could more of you guys message Jujucat as well and ask them NICELY to put up placeholders? It’s needed since the Korean raws are several chapters ahead of us

It sounds like a lot but it’s not unreasonable. 5 unofficial chapters have been uploaded so far and more will be uploaded because the raws are several chapters ahead of us. I don’t know when the official translation will get released so there needs to be 5-10 placeholders so that the order doesn’t get disrupted

Did Lord Mugo successfully eliminate/kill all three of the evil spirits that violated Jaheon? I couldn’t quite tell, it wasn’t as clearly shown/depicted like that chapter with the man with the truck that kidnapped Jaheon. The evil spirits managed to get a piece of him now like they always wanted too, what consequences will this bring? If they’re not eliminated, something bad will come out of this, wouldn’t it? I also really hope he doesn’t get pregnant because they came inside of him, ugh, poor Jaehon
