So did the police arrest Brandon? And why did Matthew kidnap his classmate? I didn’t get that part
Yes, the police arrested everyone and let the group of Jin leave because they said it was self defense from their side. Matthew just forced his classmate to call his Dad ( I guess he’s a high ranking officer) so it seems they were both kidnapped by the gang ( maybe Matthew planned it like that so he could save Jin but also maintain his ordinary life)
The bartender was wearing a corgi dad t-shirt, haha! Does anyone remember if Silas has ever given Arthur a BJ and/or rimmed him? If I’m not mistaken, this is the second time Arthur’s giving Silas? But I don’t remember Silas doing that … and why did it take them long to set a safe word?! Silas is the more experienced one and introduced him into BDSM play, he should’ve been way more responsible and done this from the start
You’d be surprised at how many people in the bdsm community just don’t set up safewords. I’m a member of the community and my first partner didn’t talk to me about them for a few months. We were just figuring out if we were compatible in the first place. Ofc I’ll always use a safe word now since it helps both sub and dom to be safe but it’s the doms responsibility to always be checking the subs non verbal cues and body language to see if it’s okay or if it’s too much. Safe words aren’t the cure all since a gag could easily stop someone from using a safe word. I personally use safe words alongside safe gestures (something like a triple tap to the closest body part or ringing a bell on the wrist if they are tied together) and my partners also have their own safewords and gestures. Even though Silas is more experienced, he’s not more mature and he wasn’t seriously interested in pursuing a BDSM relationship in the first place. He did ask about a safeword prior to this and Arthur didn’t set one. Even now, Arthur is the one who’s reluctant to set one. Not to mention, Arthur is the one who is more physically strong between the two so they probably both assumed that if Arthur really hated it, he would have just decked Silas and knock him unconscious or something.
Another reason is probably because Silas is traumatised from childhood. He has deep seated abandonment issues so he probably didn’t set one up because it would have felt like a rejection of the most real version of himself that he could show Arthur. A lot of doms unfortunately view safewords as an attack on their ability to safely navigate the fine line between play and assault. This isn’t to say that all doms are like that or even that most doms are like that because they aren’t but it’s a little bit common to hear stories like that. Sometimes subs feel like they will be abandoned for using a safeword and sometimes a dom will feel rejected so trust should be the first thing that was nurtured.
Sorry that turned out so long. Unless you’re a member of the BDSM community and interact with multiple different types of people, it’ll be hard to understand. Hope my explanation helped a bit.
Could people please stop saying that she’s just a child/teenager and doesn’t know any better? She’s in her early 20’s and ended college. She’s an young adult. No matter how sheltered her life’s been and if she really is naive and innocent, her emotional intelligence still wouldn’t be that of a little child’s. Children from the country grow up and mature must faster than city children. Even if she was raised in the city, children with sick family members mature faster compared to other children as well. So her emotional intelligence isn’t sub par.
For all of you that defended her saying that she was just “doing this out of concern for Mr. Kwon” and that “she’s a closeted lesbian and confused and conflicted with her feelings and sexuality”; there you have it. Even if those were the reasons, she would’ve not gone about it in the way that she did, no matter how confused she was. No child should be neglected so I sympathize with her. But her little story had absolutely nothing to do with why she behaved and acted the way she did towards Mr. Kwon and Ho. So I really do not understand what that even has to with them. That BG story doesn’t excuse what she did at all. I hate that she planted a seed of doubt into our lovebirds :(

I don’t care if her intentions are out of the goodness of her heart, if she’s confused, conflicted, projecting, or whatever the reason. She’s being incredibly disrespectful and rude! And she’s not a child, she’s in college! She’s from the country where people mature much faster and have way more heavier burdens and responsibilities compared to city children. So she knows exactly right from wrong! Also keep in mind that this is in East Asia where meddling in others peoples business is not OK and that respecting your elders and addressing them with titles is a must. It doesn’t matter that she’s known Mr. Kwon all her life and if he’s given her permission to be informal. The younger ones still address the elders with some title, even if they’re close. She does not have the right to take matters into her own hands and go behind his back. Especially when it comes to Mr. Kwon, that’s not only older than her but also the head of the entire village! In this chapter she just said Ho. “Thank you Ho”, “What’s going on between you and Ho?”. She’s being very disrespectful towards Ho and it doesn’t natter that he’s new in the village and lived abroad for so long. And it doesn’t matter that she’s having a rough time rn because of her granny. Your life can be absolute hell and you can still be polite and respectful, especially towards those that are helping you and care about/for you. I know that Mr. Kwon and Ho will be understanding and kind with her and show grace. But I still hope that they draw the line and it make it absolutely clear for her, in their own way, that it’s not any of her effing business, respectfully.
So Aaron has planned all this from the start to get Yujin into the business and make him famous, but why? Yes, Yujin is talented and all that but Aaron has been in the business ever since he was a kid, he of all people knows how rough, stressful and ugly this industry is. Celebrities don’t have any privacy at all and can get into a lot of trouble if they’re not careful and hang out with the wrong people (alcohol, drugs, assault, paparazzi, not booking enough/good jobs, etc). I’m not saying that all celebrities hate the business and regret being famous but for Aaron to willingly and deliberately pull in Yujin too? That he knows doesn’t like to be on stage, sing publicly and has one anonymous record? And according to him, that be loves to point out all the time, has a big sex addiction? Imagine all the groupies he’ll get. What is he playing at?
