- There’s a parabole like that in bouddha scripture with a kind being abusive to his son prophetised to kill him : in the en the son does kill the king who abused him so bad
- Oedipe is about the same story ; if the king hadn’t thrown the baby away for fear of a prophecy, nothing would have happened in the first place

He misunderstood his senior and hated him onesidedly, based on his own guess - he blamed him and entitled himself to be disrespectful for the sake of a grudge he shouldn’t have had, if he had asked instead of pushing his conclusions and accusing without proof and he’s dishonest and selfish to the boot
If you were the ML, are you sure you would hire and forgive so many times the excess of that person ?
So in the end: where is the bullying ? When he’s not fired for bad behaviors ? When he’s not send the bill for overeating himself sick in a welcoming dinner ? When he’s let of with a mean ride after ruining an expensive bike (ok not entirely his fault) and replacing it with a crappy one ?

But he’s mostly responsible for his own misfortune, if anything, his boss is truly helping him, at least by tolerating his excess - he’s also pretty remarkable for having so little grudges after being made to carry so much blame for things he didn’t do
When the ML sees his ex, it’s exactly what he reproaches him, but that’s how he is towards his boss, and in the same way his ex gave himself permission to be mean and unfair for all what he blamed him for - isn’t he actually doing the same taking petty revenges for things that only happened in his imagination ?
