My kitten of 2 and a half months just died yesterday. She got sick and died on my bed.
I was the one who burried her in our backyard. She died with her blue eyes open. I closed them after putting her inside the dirt I dug. She looked like she was sleeping soundly.
She looked like she was at peace, even though I knew she was struggling during her last moments. She was just a baby.
Looking at her in the dirt, I remembered all the times she laid sleeping beside me as I work.
I'm sorry I couldn't prolong your life. I love you, and I hope you'll greet me on the other side like you do whenever I get home. I can't wait to hug you again. See you someday, Boq.
