it's kinda weird seeing the latest translation choosing to opt out of using honorifics and having yoohyun addressing yoojin by his name when that's like one of his main traits as a character. in the novel, yoohyun very rarely uses polite speech apart from public announcements, and when he does, he talks as if he's in equal footing regardless the other person's ranking or age, which is seen as a huge disrespect in korea. the only person he uses the correct honorifics with, such as the usage of 'hyung', is yoojin. not only he doesn’t call yoojin informally (speech), he never skips the honorific either. i can't remember rn but i think they even have a character point that out lol i hope the officials keep the honorifics in.
because they kept calling it gundam in the novel i expected something else lol
What are you expecting? That's gundam.
well, you don't have to super smart to know that's not what a gundam usually looks like. i was talking about more common looking gundams like those that stay at malls, kind of like a transformer.
That's transformers not gundam, big mecha didn't transform like transformers they have their own lives while gundam doesn't which either you insert yourself inside the machines with a command chair or wires connected to you, in some mecha series they uses only the "consciousness" of the rider. I forgot the name of that series. But there are different types of gundam, slim gundams, huge, bulk, rowdy and sexy. But transformers may have the same types, all of them have their own consciousness.
I was high asl when i read your question and i have no idea why i was so rude... sorry and thank you for genuinely explaining even though i was all bitchy
