The fact that I am routing for the main character to die and get mutilated is absurd and I absolutely love it.
It's such a unique manhua. I can't believe I'm routing against the people wanting to bring the Mc back to life when in any other story that would be a good thing.
I actually caught up to this quite recently but the story was beautiful, mature and dare I say, ahead of it’s time in dealing with such nuanced subject matter that was displayed throughout the chapters. I loved it so, so, so much!
Sidestepping the mistreatment of the illustrator for a moment, I just want to appreciate how gorgeous this story is from the genuinely jaw-dropping art, complex characters, and intriguing world-building; it is not often I am willing to switch to the novel, but for this story, I may have to because from the very first chapter I was GAGGED. I need to know more and I hope the illustrator takes as much time as she needs, there will be people always waiting for this story’s return.
I feel like with a lot of isekai, the fls get over their trauma/grudges very quickly but I loveeee how penelope is kept on reminded of her grievances and the fact that feels sympathy with the og penelope… such a good character I am extremely excited to see what happens to her
Just so good. The story is so well-done, charming, and endearing. The art is beautiful and expressive. And all the characters are so loveable. My favorite is definitely Aizawa herself! Or maybe Sayaka and Kasumi! Lesbian rep!
Every horrible thing you can think of is in this but played in a comedic light, and so frequent it sorta desensitizes you to it and turns back to being enjoyable. It’s strange but the art is wonderful, the characters even with their illegal gimmicks are enjoyable, and the plot has potential.
This series is incredible. The art is gorgeous and the relationships displayed, the problems that are shown that are faced by people with limited hearing is all so realistic. Itsu and Yuki are the stars of the show, with Itsu being my favorite of the two but both of them are so precious to me. Very excited for the next chapters, my expectations for future partners has once more been raised.
